That framing is beautiful! The purple shiny matte matches the fabric so well and the diffused glass shows off the sparkle of the beads. Every time you show your works I want to try wild fabric.

John James have 3 lengths of beading needles. Standard, long and short. I use the short ones for cross stitch beading and the regular ones for goldwork .
Your framed mermaid is stunning!! And the ones you've started already look beautiful. Hope to see much more of Japanese Zen, and am really curious what fabric you'll end up with for Poison. I have both kitted, but fabric choice is tough. Take care, and happy stitching.
Your newly framed mermaid is awesome!! Just a thought on those long strips of fabric, how about Nora Corbett's petite mermaids? Either framed individually or in bell pull style. They'd look great in a grouping with the larger ones.

That is from Mystic Fabrics, they have a limited run of Pride fabric during Pride month. That piece is called ‘my heart is full of rainbows’, I think they do it every year. If they do it again I’ll definitely grab another piece, it is nice 😊
