Wow second bottle of Blanche Bete, that’s impressive with your collection!! I can totally see why some would find Bake too bitter too. Mercurial Cashmere is soooo good!! I own this one and Trajan from Electimuss but Mercurial Cashmere is my favorite. I own Zenne as well and it’s a good one from Nishane. I need to break down and get a sample of Blanche Bette. I have talked myself out of blind buying this one many times as well, but I really need to get a sample and see if I like it first.
Absolutely get a sample of Blanche Bete which will cut the craving to blind purchase. It really helped me as I was so close to blind purchasing and could have gone wrong. Luckily I loved it. I need to try Trajan, I don’t think I have yet
I’ve rediscovered eclat de arpege for summer after using bottles of it in high school! and moving on to other things. It’s this beautiful light and soft everyday scent. Luminescent, refreshing, peony- floral. Really beautiful. A new one I love is Bois De Acese by Naomi Goodsir. Deliciously smoky bonfire. Addictive. Since moving to the Middle East, I’ve learned that the western idea of hot weather scents is oceanic, citrus, fresh scents, and here they embrace deep smoky rich desert scents to almost counter act and cool off in the heat. So I’ve been converted and wearing super smoky stuff. And guys! It’s working- almost like eating spice in the heat. Cooling, sensual. I feel awesome.

My resolve to not buy any more perfume was completely shattered by Canada Day and July 4 discount codes. I just received Bal d’Afrique and Pink Me Up, both at a discount I couldn’t refuse. 😊 I love Scent Split too. Just got a sample of Blanche Bête. Hmm, definitely not blind buy recommended for me. Need to play with it.

Yeah it starts to turn pink as it macerates, it is the vanilla in the composition. It is completely normal, seen a few people talk about it. Sharidas bottle has started to turn pink now
I can see the similarities but I still think they are quite different. If I was to pick one I would probably go with Oriana as it is more universal in my opinion

I have done a niche under 100 video, Zara and I have done some designer videos too. However, I admit I gravitate more towards luxury fragrances. Out of curiosity as everyone is different, what price point would you say is affordable?

Hi Hayley - have Zenne and 100 Silent ways - do they smell very similar to you? Apart from the sweetness of 100SW they smell almost identical to me
Oh really?! I can see a similar vibe but to my nose they are quiet different. Zenne is quite tart in the opening and I get lots of gardenia too. x
