😂😂What a joke …Hindu religion means Shudras Dalits and Adibashis will keep serving Brahmans and Kings… caste system…Besides Hinduism,every other religion is also full of non-scientific, farcical tales ,myths and each one espouses opression of women as 2nd class inferior people under the garb of morality. Hence there is no reason we need to refrain and de-attach(I know a strange word albeit) from a "specific belief" in our journey to comprehend others...!!! Tagore pondered over many principles amongst which was spiritualism (building relationships with Almighty)!!!!
Our cultural teacher used to sung this song during our program in RKMS..Along... memories rewinded

Fully enjoyable , considering that it's the maiden attempt by the group. The first line , as far as I remember from the very old Vedic Text , also begins with Samani vah mantrah , here vah is the plural i.e. mama[me], abayoh[nauh] , asmakam[vah]. The Rig Veda with me is a 1895 print . Of course , I've to check with Geldner's German translation also.

প্রথমত, স্তোত্রটি বাস্তবে ঋগ্বেদ থেকে নেওয়া হলেও গানটির সুর রবীন্দ্রনাথ নিজে করেছেন সামবেদের style maintain কোরে।
দ্বিতীয়ত, একটা সংস্কৃত শ্লোক আপরটি বাংলা কথা........দুটোর ভাষাগত, ভাষার application, ভাষার অর্থগত সম্পূর্ণ আলাদা........এ'ভাবে দুটিকে মেশানো যায়, শুধুমাত্র সুর এক বলে ???
