My idea of 3D printed beyblade tops is a HMS inspired format where the layers are as small as single layer, plastic discs with a bit of metal to make it not too heavy. I would give them God layer tier burst resistance so you can see bursts a couple of times. I would propabby put them between 50 to 60 grams
Got 4yrs of blading for 5-6 hrs with my boy hahaha. And yeah, we can Identify someone is playing beyblade just by hearing those metal sounds mostly on metal fight series.

@@BeybladeDad i watched a few episodes of burst that were free on youtube and it seemed pretty decent for a toy battling shonen anime but i dont think it really grabs my attention as much anymore since I only really care about the irl game. I will say what im loving about burst as a game is the way the actual beys feel like theyve gone way up in quality and customazability(especially the takara tomys) in a way that doesnt betray the core simplicity that makes beyblade what it is first and foremost. Building tops and making them fight. Having extra interchangeable parts like armor and chips allows for way more subtle bits of player expression that have meaningful impact on performance and i love how they do it by breaking down the existing layers into sub parts rather than strapping more nonsense onto the game piece. Like anyone who played the original bakugan series probably remembers the descent into gimmick hell where every season had to have some new gimmicky back pack or vehicle or action figure that served little to no purpose in the table top game since it was just extra bulk strapped on top and all the actual gameplay effects happened on a reference card, and all of the seperate gimmicks could be used together, so a "competetive" deck ended up looking like at least 6 -12 game pieces with a pile of refference cards when in the beginning it was 3 bakugan and 3 of the 2 types of cards. You can see how beyblade ALMOST shot themselves in a similar way when they tried beywheels and the wierd thing i cant remember the name of where they had big action figures with swords sticking out of the tops. Like even as a kid those were such a turn off for me and that was all happening around the time myself and all the kids i knew stopped caring about beyblade. Its really cool now to see how gracefully theyve rebounded from that mistake and managed to create a generation of beyblade that sticks to that core principal of tops no bigger than your palm doing the fighting and giving players creative new ways to customize sub layers of the top that lets it maintain its small sleek form factor rather than just strapping a ninja star, action figure, tire, and a glock to it to be "meta". From what im hearing it sounds like the burst generation may be coming to an end soon so if thats the case im looking forward to seeing what the 4th generation looks like and i hope that continue relying on this creative simplicity they seem to have mastered in burst. As long is i get good customization options that dont destroy the simple function of what beyblade is im down for whatever they go with.
As I 3d printer owner although they are cheap and easy to make they break quite a bit also the printer I’m currently buying a new part but would be happy to help you out with a special beyblade dad bey if you wish
I believe that there are probably rule set up by the WBBO in the anime that the Pro's have to follow as well as submitting all of their designs as we see in the first season of burst when they scan each competitor's Bey and Logger at the Regionals. Then the WBBO probably makes scaled down mas produced versions of the Pro's Beybaldes to sell at hobby shops, toy stores and department stores. Some of the Rules I foresee being in place are limits on materials used in construction, weight and size limits on each type of part, limits on types of gimmicks(no flying pieces as that would endanger athletes and fans) and rpm limits on launchers.

Yeah 3d printers are like the main characters in our real world that makes their bey more competitive, some beys are too powerful on anime but not that great on real world so 3d printers or beymakers think ways to improve or make them competitive just like on anime.

I’m not the biggest fan of the burst because I grew up with metal fighters but I will admit I really like that they actually told us how the beys are made and we get to see the bladers make and upgrade there Beyblades. In the metal series if I remember right they ether magically changed or they just showed up with a new one.

@@BeybladeDad well most of the flame brands. I prefer them over hasbro beys unless its a pro series release, plus theyre pretty much tt beys but cheaper and has normal screws lol. Although tt has still better quality, buying flame brand isnt much of a difference except for the price
