I'm renting a campervan for 8 days to travel throughout New England next month and my last full day in the van I plan to visit as many light houses as I can between Bar Harbor Maine and Portsmouth NH. Can't wait. I had planned to stay in hotels for this trip but I started watching this channel last winter and Chrome was my inspiration to book the van back in March instead.
You will love it! Avoid the interstate as much as possible! Stay on or near route 1, for main N-S travel, but take all the little side roads for sure=;^) See if Happy Clam Shack is open on the way - yummm.

Another OMG! I visited Lucy Island around 1973 when there was a family living there. We ended up staying overnight when a storm blew in. There were 13 of us for dinner that night - the population more than doubled. Communication then was by CB radio. The teens were doing homeschooling 25 years before it became a thing. Thank you for taking me back to some wonderful memories.
So glad to see you using a plate today, I was getting concerned seeing you throw food on various public tables - who knows what kind of dirt, germs and er other "matters" would be on those tables from just being outdoors.

Second breakfast on the “wet coast” is very common, don’t know why but you have a much bigger appetite for some reason, and no weight gain either. Probably cause there’s so much more exercise, walking etc, and the climate is much cooler on the cloudy days

Same style laundry jug I use in my van. I add some thinned out bleach to it before I use it. Doesn't take a lot to work. Two liter jug with 350ml of bleach or 2 quart jug with a 1-1/2 cups of bleach and fill it with water. Small amount added to the bottle before I use it and empty it after using it for as long as 24 hours without any problems. No dangerous gas problems in 60 years of doing it.
Love the vintage boat. I just bought a vintage travel trailer to move into into full time. It'll be parked in one spot most of the time and I'll use my van for camping. I bought a 1974 12 foot long Cascade. Sooooo excited to move in!!!
Now I'm wondering what the size of the space (in square centimeters) that Walmart is in and compare it to some of the older Walmart stores (Category 1) that are still open. Some Walmarts in the smaller towns are in buildings that measure 43,000 square feet (US measurement).
Really appreciate you showing off Rupert. A lot of Vanlifer's and adventurer's make their way through but not so many hang out for a week, especially at this time of year.

I spent my honeymoon in Rupert lol rode the The Queen of the North (might’ve been the queen of Prince Rupert was 1987), back to the island. Very happy to have obtained a cabin to sleep in
That new and improved Pee jug probably still had soap in it! so when it's full all you have to do is Shake It Up and pour it out. The soap on the inside will wash it real well!!
