- 2018 Sep 12_13 -- Leon is another beautiful place worth-visiting along the Camino de Santiago route in Spain. Understanding its vast historical and architectural heritage makes this trip very interesting and different. A visit to Leon without seeing Leon's Cathedral is not complete. The Cathedral is an example of French-style classic Gothic architecture in Spain; it has a very extensive and best-preserved collections of medieval stained glass in Europe, majority of which contains the original windows. Indeed, a jaw-dropping beauty not to be missed! The Roman walls in the Northern sides are well-preserved, and the experience to walk the medieval wall is like walking along with the Romans. Our next journey gets us to Astorga and Palais del Rey ...

@@santiagoandresmartinez3093 Oh I see what you mean now. For me, both Oviedo and Leon are wonderful places to visit. They offer different vibes to different visitors. Oviedo is livelier with more people to watch than Leon, at least when we were there. In honesty, I can go back and visit both places again. Thank you again for your nice comment. :)
