    Excellent tips esp. as you talk about the whole system. We have to excite the whole system with the end release in a straight line, with the tip high. Great video.

    Tim, thanks for this excellent video. I am a new spey caster and I get out and practice often. I've got a decent Snap-T and Double spey. This season I will be working on my Snake Roll and Single Spey casts.

    Fantastic instructional video.
    I’ve been Spey casting for years here in Scotland but it’s always great to see someone break the cast down & every day is a school day.
    What is the set up you are casting??

      Thanks so much, the rod is a Bruce and Walker Powerlite 15 foot 7/9 and the line is a Bridge Mainstem 8/9
