Good documentary but there's one very important guy left out. Salvatore "Sally D" D'Ambrisio. He was in Harry Fontana's crew and so was his brother, Funzi. as well as Carmine Persico. D'Ambrosio was, according to Sonny Franzese, "the toughest motherfucker on the streets' D'Ambrosio had a good number of notches on his belt so to speak. It was D'Ambrosio who was strangling Larry Gallo when the patrolman came in. Officer Melvin Blei was waiting out in the patrol car and when the guys came running out to get in their vehicle, Blei tried to stop them and D'Ambrosio shot him in the face. D'Ambrosio murdered Joe "Jelly" Gioelli on D'Ambrosio's yacht weeks earlier and they dismembered Joe Jelly and tossed him in the ocean. D'Ambrosio's also the one who smacked John "Johnny Green" Scimone and gave him the swollen eye seen @ 8:18. D'Ambrosio had been a boxer and was good with his hands. He went to prison for 6-7 years chiefly for trying to bribe cops into dropping charges against his girlfriend, Palma Vitale. At some point shortly after he got out of prison in early 1968, he and Persico went to Joe Colombo and requested that D'Ambrosio be made a captain. He never got his wish however. Something went wrong and he disappeared along with another Colombo in late November/early December 1969. In the FBI docs on Greg Scarpa working with them from that time period, Scarpa told the FBI that the word on D'Ambrosio is that he was killed because he had murdered 2 top Bonanno members, Frank "Frankie T" Mari and Mike Adamo along with 3-4 other unsanctioned murders including civilians. Don't know if what Scarpa told the FBI was true or not but something went wrong along the way. I only mention all this because D'Ambrosio was from what I've gathered, the biggest hitter in that family as well as an earner and I find it fascinating he is so seldom mentioned. He was 8 years older than Persico but he and Persico were very tight. Both D'Ambrosio brothers were highly respected members of the Colombos.
And Nicky Black wasn’t shot 8 times with a shotgun in his Camaro. He was shot once behind the ear with a shotgun by Larry Mazza in his SUV. And Scarpa didn’t pour whiskey into his eye wound! He had a scotch while talking to his probation officer about why his ankle bracelet alarm was going off. And his son ran off once he saw his dad get shot so they didn’t drive home together. LaRosa said he just got in the car and drove off by himself after getting shot in the eye. I Al have know Larry Mazza and have heard most of these stories from him

Scarpa wasn’t driving the car when the hit attempt happened and they didn’t hit any pedestrians trying to get away. The panel truck that was blocking them in left enough room in the sidewalk for Joe Fish Marra to get by. Why not do a bit more research to get the facts since you are putting so much effort into this great show
