People’s rise to fame or stardom doesn’t have to be the same sol is right,Tyla is an incredible singer/artist who was probably recognized by someone or a team that was willing to invest in her talent, I think it’s a matter of being at the right place at the right time as well and not everyone documents every single detail of their lives and who knows if that was even part of their plan to move in silence as some type of a strategy while they work on the tyla brand i didn’t know about tyla until last year and I was introduced to her by people who already knew her from way back, I think just because we have access to social Media doesn’t necessarily mean we will know everyone I also think also her growth is the fact that not everyone knew about her and she popped when the time was right.

My first ever job, I was a Cleaner at airport Cargo section at a restaurant called Airchefts. It was Christmas job.
2nd one I was an assistant at panelbeating workshop in Petit Daveyton, I wanted to save money to go home on school holidays while studying at VUT ekurhuleni campus.
3rd after Diploma worked two weeks as an invigilator in krugersdorp college.
4th worked at house and home as a sales person for almost 4 months, had to quit because the basic salary and hours there were unbearable for me.
After house and home I went to TUT to advance my education.
After that worked as a standing in lecture for one month.
Then my current job which gave me and my family a big break. I thank God. 😢

Just because Tyla is from SA we don't question how she came up. The facts are there was no fanbase Tyla's first song and music video had a ridiculously high budget and that was from 1 song she was marketed everywhere unlike in the past when similar artists like Shekinah were the whole country liked the song 'Back to The Beach" who even went diamond but even after only 2 to 3 songs Tyla was heavily pressed everywhere including radio . Now we see her world tour cancelled due to low sales a whole world tour from where might one ask and grammy and all this mainstream attraction everyone she meets is for paid marketing like recently the streamers or similar artists from the same label.
THE 1 QUESTION I ask you that any other artist has answer for is why does Tyla not exist before in any way or shape or form in the industry before a record label ? Not even a single song just straight to high budgets and marketing and grammys but like with all corruption we don't question it when it's not against us.
But this is against the actual hardworking artists we witnessed who were not created like an Aromat advert for black people pitched to white CEOs.
With the Tyler issue, yes the girl is talented, however,it's her P.R team that made her what she is. Whether we like it or not. Black Coffee said something similar when he said he has a team that specifically caters for the international audience, now look where he is.
