- This is my night time routine which allows me to get the most out of my hair when it's straight! With this method of wrapping your hair you don't have to apply any more heat with styling tools....which means No heat Damage, Shake and Go!

for me I had to buy the right Bobby pins. need to ones that are straight on the bottom and wavy up top. the old bobby pins I had were completely straight and didnt hold well at all
also if ur hair is really thick like mine, tie the crown of your hair and do the front first, then the crown

Its night...I’m tired...I have extremely long hair and at this point I’m ready to just drive to my friends house (15 mins away and have her wrap my hair)
ALTERNATIVE WRAPPING IF YOUR HAIR DOESNT STAY WRAPPED: just brush it back, split ur hair into two sections, cross it over once and bobby pin the two sections up

I try as hard as a I can but my hair is basically waist length.
Hi is your hair falling fown once you get it into the wrap? If so you can secure each section as you go with bobby pins! I do this when I have a long weave in, it works! I can do a video of what o mean if thats the problem..let me know 😀

Haha 🤣 it's easier than you think! But practice makes perfect 🙏🏼
Here's a quick tip:
Make sure that your hair is curled tightly on the ends if it doesn't stay up on its own. This allows the hair to wrap around the other hair and stay up without the use of bobby pins 🙌🏼

That look so easy when you do it that way but my hair is too long to hold on and I don’t like to wear bobby-pins cause they bend the hair sometimes. Now I regret not bringing my hairnet but I like the way you did it. 🤩👍👍👍
Thank you! When you wrap yours try curling the very ends tightly so that hair can wrap around itself easily and stay! That has worked for some ppl with longer hair that I told to.do it that way❤️ if it works for you, let me know 🙏🏼🙌🏼

I am the 7th of my mother & father's children. yet in unfair the 5th of 5 females siblings who ALL in their experience wrap their hair at bedtime NEVER in my asking taught that to me. Nor ever wrapped my hair for me. I hope your video will give me in a few tries to master it myself. That is a perfect way to keep constant heat from my hair that having press each morning would do. But wrapping holds the bend and body style in longer without the dryness & slpit ends.

Every time I put Bobby pins in it to make it stay in the morning when I take it out it’s all crimped and dented
Aww maybe try to use less? When you wrap your hair does it have a hard time staying up..if so you csn also try curling the ends slightly to help the hair to lay better. Hope this helps!
If you need pins to wrap get one of those Dominican doobie caps with the holes so once the wrap is in place you can just pull them through the hole and you have the cap on your head
This doesnt work on my hair. My hair is too straight. I tried to wrap my hair and I have fly aways all over the place..My hair is like water, when I get a silk press. I need to find an alternative to wrapping, b/c wrapping doesnt work on my straight hair
I have that same problem when I first get mine done! After a couple days it becomes easier. Try to secure it with bobby pins as you go...you can also slightly bend the ends of your hair on low heat with a flat iron/ curling iron or go heatless by using hair rollers and leave them on for about 20- 30 mins to get a slight curl on the ends. Then your hair won't be too straight, this will help the hair wrap on to itself. I hope this make since! ❤

Hello KSB I’m natural I’ve been wrapping my hair for years when I had a relaxer. Have you ever experienced where the hair no matter how tight something has shifted under the scarf and I’m left with a crinkle in my hair.😡 I refuse to keep “touching up” the messed up side just not sure why the hair is doing this wanted your thoughts...please. Yes I have! I don't use heat on my hair often so I know what you mean. I make sure to use a long enough scarf that is wide enough to keep evey part of your hair in place. So if it moves while sleeping your hair still remains under it. If you don't have one like this you can add another light weight scarf right on top of that to keep the scarf underneath from moving. Thank you for responding I appreciate you. That’s the thing the scarf is on my head you know the satin head tie like the men’s doo rag. Last night I put a satin skull cap then the satin wrap...I stuck a couple of giant pins in the top. Hair is straight but I’m not going to touch up the piece on my side that is a little puffy. When I do my hair again I’ll try this and see if it works. Again thank you 😊

Do I need to wet/mist my hair upon doing this?
No you don't need to wet your hair prior! It will make your hair revert if you do that and it won't be smooth
Can we do it on wet hair? If no then how do we do it if our hair becomes very curly and can't become straight

How do you get your hair to stick together like that 😭😭😭 mine just FALLS
I alternate between a comb/detangling brush and a bristle brush and hold it into place with my hand 😥 its alot but once you practice it easy to get the technique. Hou can use bobbi pins to keep from falling as well. Hope this helps 😊

Yes of course! That's one of my recommendations to keep the hair from moving. Hope this works for you 💞💞
How long does it stay if i left it overnight ?
The wrap can stay however long you will like it to! You have to leave a scarf on or reinforce with Bobby pins to keep it in place. Keep in mind bobby pins or clips will leave a dent in your hair. ❤

My hair is naturally curly however this method doesn't work on my hair color n it's natural state. I prefer using this on straightened hair only 😌

If it doesn't for you..my mom used this trick for me and my sisters when we were little...she would tie our scarfs on and then put tights/ stockings on over it to keep everything in place 💕☺

When I try this my crown doesn't stay flat and not a single video I've watched addresses that.
Hold your hair flat on your crown with you hand as you wrap your hair around. Use your scarf to secure it in place. Hope that helps 🙏 I'll probably do a troubleshooting vid once I straighten my hair again.❤️

😥 aw just keep trying. Another tips is to curl the ends of your hair on low heat...it'll help the hair stay up in the wrap if its too straight. You'll only have to do this once 💕 hope that helps...let me know if you have any questions

Yes you can,my hair is fully natural. My natural curl pattern is tightly curled. This is a silk press..no chemicals needed 🙌🏽

You don't need them but if your hair keeps falling down that's when you use the pins. Hope that helps!
