As much there is alot take in to answer on this video as how StN is trying its best to get any recognition to playerbase. There is not many content from what Game has to offer community itself. But if we really ever thought about how anyone out there who wants to try their best by supporting the game,fan film or anything from indie creator, why wouldn't we come up the idea together to help them out with so much that people can appreciate to their recognition and knowledge that impress to pop culture or horror genre?
Good question. I think it is because of murder mistery 2. Each match is the same gameplay, easy to catch (Important to attract kid audience) and trade system, wich makes pet sim 99 and other trading games successful. I think that's the reason, cuz STK is horrendus, boring and full of hackers. If developers had added a wanky trading system in stn with limited stuff and other cringy ''OOOH, LOOK AT ME, I HAVE LIMITED THING THAT COSTS A TON OF MONEY'' the game would be in a great spot right now, most probably (Thinking in a state in which they kept updating the game).
I hate STK, it just sucks you have no chance of surviving if you roam around you can't even defend yourself distance camping is a thing too the game just sucks

Just use your perks and gears to survive for 5 hours (5 minutes) and there are bonus tasks too.

The game was originally called before the dawn redux, which was also abandoned & lost all of its players, they closed it off entirely so people could just move to their newest project which we know as survive the night. Survive the night is just the classic before the dawn but worse, I just want BTD and BTD Redux back. Edit: There were also other games that failed instantly. Apologies for the ignorance. BTD 2 SLASH That's all I know, sorry.

It was a really scummy move, the game still had 30-50 players on average when stn was close to releasing and let's remember roblox devs don't need to pay money to keep their games OPEN. In theory btd:r came back, but with progress resetted and an infinite exp and money tile which also mocked players who liked btd:redux. This was a really unfair situation.

To me the game started falling off when they completely removed most of the doors on the house map. It doesn't really have that much significant change to the ENTIRE GAME at first but it opened a gate that should've never been opened. Also the new fucking lobby.... like ma please bring back the old one, I get that it's literally a copy of Until Dawn's lodge but it fits the game's atmosphere.

Bro story mode is like the most important thing in stn, it gives us VERY important lore about the game and its like a movie where we are a part of it soo if you hate it then you shouldn't be even called 'the best player of stn' because real og pro players like me know that lore and story of it is the most important part of the game EVER!

This game was ahead of the time during pandemic, the only thing that impacted this game was the repetitive gameplay, people lacks of willingness to learn new mechanics is exactly why the game is in such a terrible space right now. From my observation so far, the playerbased seem to expertise the mechanics which makes strictly hard to play for new players. People don't really prefer a game that consist complex mechanics, as they choose "Survive the Killer" because it is self explanatory and explicit to understand, and of course the graphics intensity as well which makes STN hard to play.

I mean redux wasn't that unbalanced when it was still in pts like the only op killer at the time was like night fall because of his ability would just kill you instead of just downing you but like it did have a long cooldown + you could like only use it 3 to 4 times (if you didn't miss any of them)
