You got these large stresses in the first place because of the mathematical effect of singularity. The more you refine the mesh, the higher the stresses would become. And is it also correct that the back mesh of your bracket is starting to push into the wall? Perhaps it would make sense to put a virtual wall, or somehow limit this point with constraints?
