Can’t get enough of Fred Gwynne!

This is one of the best Fred Gwynne I've heard. He is very funny without knowing it.

He knows it. He's the consummate professional and can be exactly as funny or as serious as the script calls for. We lost a lot when we lost him.

It's the essence of great comedy..... To be truly funny, without making it seem, like you are trying to be funny. Fred was a spectacular actor, especially in voice acting. I never truly appreciated it, till I found CBSRMT. RIP to Fred AND ChillySunshine, who both brought sunshine to my life, just when I needed it! 💜🙏💜

This is an all time favorite episode. Fred Gwynne played his character fantastically, considering the cast only did one read-thru before going into the studio to record the show. Himan Brown knew who would be best for each character. Bob Dryden, one of the men of a thousand voices and accents, was great, too.

Just because Sam Dann was a big part of CBSMT, and wrote this episode... I found this >>>>>

I've been asking for a while; Why do people who work for/with assassins, mobsters, terrorists, traitors and tyrants always say, "It's just business?"

The logic of the story's main characters is as clear as raw sewage.

Sam Dann is really growing on me. There's some mighty clever language in the narration here and to top it off Sprinkles talks exactly like a Damon Runyon character right down to using only the present tense when he's speaking of the past or future; even the writers who created the Guys & Dolls musical couldn't manage to re-create Runyon as fully as Sprinkles does in this script.

@@funniebunnie4u She's my absolute favorite CBSRMT writer and I have a playlist of 76 episodes scripted by her.
EDIT: She was also an actor on radio, tv and the Broadway stage but I bet you already know that.
