It’s the little details that Milwaukee is great at. I just purchased the 9 gallon. I do wish the filter bags came with the unit, but not such a big deal. I also like that Milwaukee has many other products already assembled. I just navigated to the Milwaukee ecosystem this year. The quality of products is exceptional. However, the price point is a big higher than their competitors. I usually wait for online sales, and also scour different sites for battery sales.
Just got this with a free XC 8.0 battery for $220 at HD. Made sure to get the bags for it too. Would have been nice if Milwaukee included the wet foam filter. Very pleased with the overall quality, especially the hose. I totally agree with you regarding the bags! They should have included at least one to give customers the idea. I wouldn't have thought about buying any bags if I just bought the vacuum without any research.
I would like to see a 6a forge on this for comparison. They claim a forge 6 is like a 12a regular. Be curious to see when the 12a forge comes out in September how much more you gain. Fantastic vid. That telescopic wand would be the way to go.
The XC 6.0 high output battery worked well with this shop vac you just get half the runtime as the HD 12.0 high output based on my usage but still got full power until it’s barely at 2 bars. I’ve used an XC 5.0 regular battery and it knee capped the suction and airflow but it still works. I also got an HD 12.0 High output battery for the best results.
Hi Phillip, I clean a retail store at night. My primary way of cleaning is to use 2 dustmops at once (one in each hand). We then have a self-driving floor scrubber come through. My question is, how would this work instead? I would primarily focus on the edges and larger debris, while the floor scrubber picks up the dust and smaller stuff in the middle of the aisles. I would prefer to vacuum over using a dustmop. I would be on the move often though, going down multiple aisles of the store. I also plan to use the vacuum for wet jobs too, as I use water to clean up areas inside the store where there is no drain. Thank you.
Yes, this would work. I would get a couple extra batteries to have charged to swap out. You’ll get about 45 mins on the big 12.0 M18 battery. I think you might get away with using the vac on low running down the sides of the aisle increasing battery time.
@@PhillipBridgesReviews Thank for the response. I'm planning to look at this model (along with some others) with my dad at a nearby store. I saw it yesterday myself, and the suction is strong.
I have that same wet/dry vac. I love mine except for the rubber gasket between the top part and the bottom part. I have mine about two months. Now i have got replace the gasket. Ughhhhhhhh

I love how these vacs are very customizable. Can’t wait to get one. Nice job 👍🏻
Thanks. I will be updating links in the description to sites that sell each piece individually for a fully customized vacuum.

I like mine. Only downside is it weighs almost 30 lbs empty.

Do you know where we can find that telescoping attachment?
It is the attachment off of Milwaukee’s m18 backpack vacuum. 1 7/8” wand. I have not seen this for sale by itself.

I think it's easier to remember, "it's reverse."
Hello from Trinidad and Tobago
Hello and Welcome. Thank you for stopping bye. 😀
Is the double battery worth getting over this one?
If you have the 12.0 to use. Go for the dual. They are both great though.
@@PhillipBridgesReviews I happen to have plenty! Dual it is. Thank you.
@@TheCodFather141 check out Milwaukee’s Air Tips attachments. Pairs perfectly with there vacs.
How is this not packout compatible!?

Interesting. I’ll have to keep an eye out on my gasket to see if it does the same. 👍🏻. Hopefully it’s not a flaw on all there gaskets for the model.
12ah, about 45 minutes? I guess 2ah isn't going too far? 😁
Lol. Not very far.
I'll buy a dewalt stealthsonic
