All the birds are back in except for the one that got ran over....last one went in yesterday, there was a hawk chasing it while four crows were chasing the hawk that was a sight to see afterwards that bird trapped. Lol.

It’s part of it. Sometimes things happen and we can do a whole lot about it. If some get lost then it’s part of the game.
Well your birds picked up some valuable experience...like I told you on the phone, three of your birds and only one of mine flew out of sight for ten to maybe fifteen minutes and comeback and leave again and stayed out for almost 2-days. They should be ahead of all the other young birds Lol.

Wow! Pigeons can be stressful sometimes 😅. I always dread the first time I let young birds out and here yours got out prematurely. That's frustrating no doubt. Hopefully the last few trap.
Yes can be very stressful at times but the joy always out weights the stress. Lol.

Good deal that they all got back in except the one.. Get that side door closed up tight.. Don't need that chaos happening again..
I'm going the put the batting cage back up today, I just need to figure out how to make a door where I can easily go in and out twice a day but secure enough to keep the birds in.
@@cavenderloft .. Just do like Steve did and lift the netting from the side up and over your head to go into the cage. Use a cottage stone brick to secure it down to the ground in that spot rather than the steel pegs. Then all you have to do is move the brick off to enter from under the net and then put it back in place when you come back out.
