FULL SPEECH: RSA visits school at New Bilibid Prison, pledges P150 million for food and supplies

During his visit at the NBP Medium Security Prison, where he addressed young inmates at its college grounds, SMC President and CEO Ramon S. Ang expressed his commitment to support their rehabilitation by pledging P100 million worth of food, and an additional P50 million for school supplies such as computers, shoes, and clothes. He also promised to bring SMC’s PBA teams to play with them-which was met by loud cheers. More significantly, he proposed to partner with TESDA to help equip the inmates with valuable skills, so they can apply for jobs at SMC projects upon their release.
