- I became Spider-Man in glorious Virtual Reality. In this video I'm revisiting one of the first Spider-Man VR movie experiences promoted by Tom Holland on Quest 2 that you could play on the PlayStation VR and Oculus headsets on PC.
Now the real question is when are we finally going to see a full fledged Spider-Man VR game coming to devices like PSVR2 and Quest 3. That's what we are going to find out!

Why do you think we have not seen a full blown Spider-Man VR game yet?
There is actually a cool vr physics game called Project demigod that not only has spiderman powers but has other powers like the flash, superman, Mr fantastic and a few others.....it's a really good game and I've been beta testing it for a while now, the dev should be releasing avatar mod support later this month so you can play as your favorite heroes from media and comics....you should check it out I think you would like it
Sony and more specifically insomniac own game rights to spiderman. Psvr1 was not good enough for something as big as a spiderman VR game and insomniac has been busy making a bunch of other games like wolverine and spiderman 2. Chances are if we get one marvel Disney and Sony will argue eventually pick a dev and then fight about what platforms it can go in. It's why spiderman coming to the avengers game took so long and is still a Sony exclusive. They don't have all the rights which is why Lego still happens but marvel is scared to push to hard on the matter cause they know insomniacs spiderman games sell really really well and loved by the community. I believe it's going to happen just may not be till the tail end of the PS5 and psvr2 life cycle. Hopefully it will also come to PC but time will tell.
@Ervin Cufta the spiderman game was taken off the store a while ago I believe besides he played it on the quest 2 using air link or a cable to his pc.....the game isn't on quest 2 standalone without a pc

@Ervin Cufta I'm pretty sure the game has been deleted.....it's honsetly like 5 mins of enjoyment cuz it's really short so your not missing anything

Everyone's talking spiderman. I want a batman vr game. Yes I know there is one already but it's too short and would be better if it had more Action mixed in with the investigative/detective side to it. Going around gotham as batman is awesome just from what the old game shows
Yep, good point. Imagine a 10+ hour Rocksteady game on PSVR2, that would be a system seller for sure
They could do it too tbh, cause there's webslinging mechanics in vrchat and it's pretty fun. Also in population one, you can climb anything like how Spiderman would, so that mechanic is covered. In Zenith there's a huge ass map almost the size of like a 1/4 of new York, but it's still huge regardless.. also there's grapple like apiderman in that game too. Seems like we have all the methods down but haven't put then all together😂

If there is gonna be a full Spider-Man vr game it’s gonna be a PSVR 2 exclusive I’m thinking that it’s probably gonna be the 2018 Spider-Man game but in Virtual Reality

I think there is no spider man game because marvel prop knows that spider man is one of the most requested games in vr. They are prop asking for a lot of money for the collaboration and it has not worked out yet.
VR does not have a huge audience compared to consoles. Also the fact marvel don’t trust anyone but Sony and insomniac to make Spider-Man games. Why invest and put time into a full on Spider-Man vr game and it doesn’t cross the one million sales mark
