Hi sir/madam, if you are having good experience of plant maintenance, I would recommend you getting certified into SAP PM and not SAP PP as you’ll be easily able to adapt to the protocols involved.

SAP PM jobs are quantitatively less (as seen on indeed.com), but yes your pay scale varies from company to company.

Both are having good demand, but if you are someone starting from scratch, I would recommend SAP PP among the two. Hope this helps!

Is SAP PP worth to learn and get into the job?
Yes! SAP PP has a constant demand in India, but it would be great if you have some operational knowledge of a production unit before kickstarting your journey of becoming a SAP PP professional
I am interested to learn SAP. Currently I am working as a design engineer and using IFS for BOM creation and release.
Interested in SCM & PP, please suggest which module is suitable for me.
SAP SCM & SAP PP both have good demand in market, if seen from job perspective. I recommend you to consult a career counselor and undergo a psychometry test to help you with you decision.
Does it require coding?
While basic technical understanding is required, you can start your journey without it as well and learn along the way
