- I didn't expect much of this when I started and then I loved it so much. I can make my own little Hogwarts students, there are a gazillionty Harry Potter themed accessories, and the way all the furniture just tetrises into the closed trunk is brilliant. Plus there are alternate builds to open it up and set it up however you want it - dormitory, great hall, feasting table. And all the stickers that you can whack on the outside just make it personable and ridiculously fun.
If you've just dropped by, I'm Ellie! Lego is an artistic medium and no matter your building expertise there is something here for everyone. I tend to geek out about new pieces, get excited about learning new and interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. i LOVE this set and was so happy to see you do one of your cute videos on it. it lives folded closed on a shelf in front of my folding classroom books. i would not have bought it if i hadn’t found it on sale at a local store because it is definitely too expensive as an adult collector not getting the play value out of the minifigs a kid might, but it is very very sweet and compact and well designed-like a lot of the recent hp sets.
I got this set, my hubby brought it for me for are anniversary. This year makes 13 years. Well on the 25 of this month June. But I was really excited I like that I can change it around. So I have it in the den and I think I'll change it around once amoth or so.. and here in the states I paid $60..then this week I saw it on sale for $45.. lol

I bought this on Amazon and then went on eBay to buy more hogwarts torsos, short legs, and heads so I could use all the hair pieces lol. I’ve got lots of students!
