I didnt see him switch back on the antenna safety switch. (Thats another trip up the mast). Also I would have used a bench power supply to check correct operation of both cooling fans at the transmitter head. Good Video.
Ka-lecky,, perform radar self-test to determine what is the problem.. just go to menu option.. we replace magnetron normally due to 4000hrs trasmit time..
Hello sir.thank you for your comment. As per makers maintenance manual of Radar. The transmit time before replacement of magnetron, X-band = 4000hrs and for S-Band= 7000hrs
Wala kami asst. Elect.. kadalasan po ay sa cruise ship may mga asssitant. Pero pag sa cargo ay solo elect ka po. Yung kasama ko po ay AB. Pag sa deck po ang work area ay pwede ka manghingi ng assistant sa mga tropa natin sa deck.. tulad po ng radar. Hindi po pwede mag-isa lang dahil working aloft po yan or meaning mataas kya kailangan may kasama ka for safety na rin.. Mag subscribe din po kayo sa channel ni AB. "Katoto brothers"
Order lang yan dito sa electrical stores. Bale sa IMPA lang kami nag oorder then kung ano lang ang dumating na supply.unless kung more specific ang order mo Sir.
the new Magnetron cable is too Long it should be made shorter, it's better to use other way than soldering, and the TX time is over 6000hrs it shouldn't be considered as still useable
Cables from new magnetron you should cut to make shorter. this is official advice from furuno service. cables should be as short as possible.

Lek louie based on exp di na po pinapalitan ung On time kasi yan ang total r.h at jan mallman ung rh ng motor ntin only tX OR TRANSMISSION TIME
tama ka sir..total R.H. at hindi na kailangang palitan pero un ang instruction nila kya po nilagyan na lang namin ng label.. thanx
