- [KiniNews] DAP central executive committee member Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali urged his party to break free from a narrow focus on race, cautioning against emulating MCA's exclusive approach.
In a statement today, Sheikh Umar stressed DAP's pivotal role in the coalition government, advocating for the defense of all Malaysians regardless of their racial or religious backgrounds.
“DAP must extend its support beyond race and religion. DAP is not MCA 2.0,” he pointed out.

SAYA tidak fikir DAP akan jadi MCA. Justeru saya lihat DAP lebih terbuka. Bagi saya, DAP hanya perlu faham dan menghormati 2 realiti berikut:
(1) AKAR & TERAS budaya Malaysia adalah Islam dan adat Melayu. Sementara agama & budaya selain Islam bebas diamalkan. Kegagalan memahami realiti ini adalah kegagalan memahami realiti politik di Malaysia.
(2) Islamophobia adalah propaganda Barat yg dibuat hanya untuk kepentingan Barat. Semua parti politik perlu tegas supaya TIDAK DIPERALATKAN oleh pentaksub ideologi Kapitalisme / Barat

When consensus is reached whereby all future generations will be called to the field ,on to the mark,get set and run on the same starting line when the whistle is blown ,then conflicts among Malaysian citizens will be surely reduced.

What I think is DAP is not a race based political party ever since its formation.

After PMX announced salary increase of 13% for civil servants, yesterday we received a notice from the municipal council that our new assessment rate has gone up by 25%. RM122 increase on top of what we are currently paying. Such a substantial increase when the municipal council has been doing a shitty job all these years. Celaka betul.
