E32 owner checking in from Chicago. I have only seen 3 in the past 4 years. One of them I owned and sold. The other was a white 740 parked and the other was an older lady parking hers at a mall. E34s you can find, e32… RARE. I still drive mine often. It was my dad’s. I love it and miss him so much.
They really are super rare, so thank you for sharing some of you experience! I am very sorry for the loss of your dad... But it seems like he had a great taste in cars and you have that too... It's a very nice thing of you to keep his car and actually drive it. They deserve to be driven, maintained and enjoyed, instead of rotting in a garage for 10 years... I really hope that you will keep your E32 for a very long time! It has some value in itself and the fact that it was your dads car, probably makes it price less to you.
My dad gave me his well maintained and serviced E32 1994 V8 730i 5 speed in absolutely original condition for free because he wanted to keep it in the family and he turned to me because he knows I am a petrol head (I have owned - consecutively - a DAF 44, a Citroen BX GTI 1900 8 valves and a 1.1 litre Lada Samara Bohse. Now I am plunging my money in the maintenance and servicing of his car. It is extremely well preserved, but I had some issues which had to be resolved (it is, after all, a 30 year old car). I had no love for BMW, but his car still drives and feels like new and it is growing on me now. Last week, my father asked if I could take him on a ride with his own car (he's 93 now) and I did. He was seated in the back, like a king, and he was beaming. This really still is his car I'm preserving for eternity. All this is happening in Belgium, by the way.
@@TPBohse That's awsome haha Seems like you have a very nice dad my guy! These cars are really special, so it's a great idea of him to pass it on to you and of course of you to keep that beauty on the road👍 Yeah, a bit of maintnance will, most likely, always catch up to you... That's the game you're playing now. But I honestley think it's worth it. You have owned some pretty interesting cars, so that E32 is a good addition to you car history of rather rarely seen cars... That being said, I wish you all the best with that car and that you will keep having your dad with you, to spend time together 🙏
Sounds quite interesting! Maybe you could come by that house and just talk to the owners about the car🤷♂️ I'm not saying you gotta buy it, but you could probably hear some interesting stories and learn sth about the history of that E32... And maybe, if it's a good one, you might end up buying it at some point Though you would really need to look out for rust in the UK, they can get pretty bad, especially with the satly air!
That's amazing brother! The 750i is super nice and special, so you really got your hands on a very interesting car. In what kind of condition is it? Is it a manual or automatic? And how much did it cost you? Sorry to bother you with so many questions, but you really spiked my curiosity here😂
Thank you a lot. There is a hell lot of work to do. Suspension, brakes, oil leaks, differential leaks as well - It was standing in a garage for some years, never moved within this time, but Engine runs. We are talking about an automatic. But I‘m not in a hurry, it will take its time to bring it back on the street. I have as well a E39 540i Touring which is a very nice car. Love older BMW cars 😉
@@muraingressant4278 I love these Era BMWs too haha, made videos on multiple ones! Like the E39👀 Your car sounds like a propper project and I would have been very suprised if it was a manual. But the automatic fits the V12 I think... I definitly agree that it's worth taking your time with the 750i to do it propperly and enjoy the process! It's gonna be a lot of work, but it will be worth it for sure. Btw, I want an E39 as my first car haha. But I'd take the sedan and want a manual 528i or 530i... Would be scared of the possible 540i maintnance if it's my only car, but I would consider one if I have multiple cars at some point 🤷♂️

Checking in with a 735i from South africa, these things are really rare this side......😅the amount of attention you get when you show up with it, priceless🤌

@MrPista Well I've had it for about 4 years now, It was just a rolling chassis without an engine and a gearbox, luckily I had a friend who had a donor 735i laying around so I restored it and it's been running great, atleast until late last year....now I need to install rings and stem seals as it's been wetting the spark plugs alot lately I have the car running on a custom ecu for fuel efficiency and added performance
