I've done this twice at the same place and on the same plane as can be seen on my TH-cam channel. It is MEGA fun! I did loops and stall turns last time but the pilot, Dave Barrell (the pilot in the video), didn't give me a barrel roll due to the weather being too turbulent. I WANT my barrel roll so I'm going back there next month! I recommend it! There is NOTHING like the feeling of freedom and the view from that top wing!
Was about to click away, when paused on "Cirencester" - which is just up the road. The near st town I haven't visited, in fact. Previously assumed all this was in America somewhere, so continued watching.
I first watched this video last year and today I went to Rendcomb and did two wingwalks, absolutely incredible!

I did this a good few years ago. The most physically knackering 20 minutes of my life. There wasn't a risk awareness film back then 😁. Respect to the girls who do this in all weathers and upside down, they are ninja athletes. Search for Rache and a Stearman on here to see my vid.
I did the 'warm up' flight last year. I'm booked for the 'Main Event' flight for the summertime but I won't wave as much as I did last time because my arm sockets ached for a week afterwards! If you watch my video on my TH-cam channel you'll see that I was just constantly waving for the entire 10 minute flight and did not hold on at all!
This is absolutely unreal. MAN I would love to do this one day 👌👌👌 awesome!
I can tell you from experience that it ROCKS! I've done the 'warm up' atop this very Boeing Stearman bi-plane at this very airfield (Rendcomb in Gloucestershire) as can be seen on my TH-cam channel. AeroSuperBatics will not allow you to do the 'Main Event' on your first flight. For insurance reasons you HAVE to do the 'warm up' flight first. I will be going back in the summertime for a fully aerobatic flight. In the meantime just last weekend I did a fully aerobatic flight whilst sat in the cockpit of another old bi-plane this time a de Havilland Tiger Moth. My flight involved two loops and one stall turn and it was fantastic! I feel if I can do those manoeuvres whilst sat in the bi-plane then I should be able to do them while stood on the top wing of the bi-plane!
I've done this at aerosuperbatics as can be seen on my TH-cam channel. The first wing walk is always without aerobatics. My second wing walk was with aerobatics included. It was fantastic and not as scary as I thought it would be!

I've done skydiving from 15,000ft and I have also done this as can be seen on my TH-cam channel. I can honestly say that wing walking tops skydiving. For me wing walking looks scary but doesn't feel scary when you are doing it and you feel as free as a bird. I highly recommend wing walking. Bungee jumping from 160ft is the scariest thing I've ever done!

I can tell you from experience that it rocks! I've done the 'warm up' as can be seen on my TH-cam channel and just that is exhilarating enough! I did the 'warm up' atop the very same 1944 Boeing Stearman bi-plane at the very same airfield (Rendcomb in Gloucestershire). I'm booked to do the 'Main Event' in June. In fact, I have been back twice to do the 'Main Event' but the weather was only good enough for the low level flights. In the meantime I did aerobatic manoeuvres including loops and stall turns in another bi-plane at the weekend. That was done at Old Sarum Airfield near Salisbury in a 1942 de Havilland Tiger Moth. So I have done a Wing Walk without the aerobatic manoeuvres and I have done aerobatic manoeuvres without the Wing Walk! All that's left to do now is combine the two!

It's already booked! As a further 'warm up' to the 'Main Event' I have just done a fully aerobatic flight but this time sat inside the cockpit of a bi-plane. My flight included two loops and one stall turn. So I've done the Wing Walk without the aerobatics and I've done the aerobatics without the Wing Walk! Time to combine the two activities!
Just completed my first actual wing walk (not ride). The difference? I actually got to climb out of the cockpit mid flight instead of being strapped on to begin with which is more of a ride than walking like the 1940s. If you want the full experience I highly recommend going to Sequim in USA - the only place left that trains you to actually walk about whilst flying vs being strapped in for a ride. The best experience of my life. Happy to take any questions.
Hey! I live not too far from squim! I am thinking about doing wingwalking! I have done paragliding, and skydiving. Im curious if you lose your stomach at all when you do the loops and all that? I love the thrill but vant stand my stomach feeling like it’s in my throat!
@@jonathanfritz1104 I hate rollercoaster but I was fine. I would recommend doing it. I was didn't feel same feeling as rollercoaster but maybe because I was so focused lol. Still I think you will be just fine though. Highly recommend

All that remains is to put the two together!
I realised I wasn't stupid enough to do this well before I had chance to ask myself if I was brave enough.
I was stupid enough and I thoroughly enjoyed it as can be seen on my TH-cam channel! I found that it looks scarier than it is.

I have yet to do the 'Main Event' (I'm booked for that in June) but I have done the 'Warm Up' Wing Walk flight atop that very same 1944 Boeing Stearman bi-plane at Rendcomb, Gloucestershire as can be seen on my TH-cam channel and I can tell you that even THAT is exhilarating enough! AeroSuperBatics will not allow you to do the 'Main Event' on your first flight due to insurance reasons. One other thing that I did just this weekend as another 'warm up' in preparation for doing the 'Main Event' Wing Walk in June was to do a passenger flight while sat in a 1942 de Havilland Tiger Moth bi-plane from Old Sarum Airfield near Salisbury, Wiltshire and the pilot gave me two aerobatic loops and one stall turn. It was epic fun! I reckon if I can put up with aerobatic manoeuvres while sat IN the bi-plane then I can put up with doing them while stood ON the bi-plane! Having done a basic low level wing walk and having done aerobatic manoeuvres while sat in the seat the only thing to top all of that is to get up on the wing now and do a combination of both! I'm looking forward to my flight in June!

That's great! I was booked to do another one this month but that was obviously cancelled. I am hoping to do another one as soon as this lockdown is lifted. They are addictive. You feel as free as a bird up there. I guarantee you will enjoy it!

How much it cost? I want to do it
£399 per flight. Video is £25. Flights last around 10 - 15 minutes. Expensive but worth it! Amazing video. I am planning this for my 40th birthday but have noticed most companies won't include the loop as part of the experience, unless you have had a prior flight with them which equals an expensive experience. I love an adrenaline rush and really want to go all out and do the loop the loop as well...any tips / locations that may help me achieve this without having to pay for 2 flights, even maybe a discounted 2nd flight. Thanks.
In the USA you can do the loops, barrel rolls and walk about the plane on your first flight but not here in England. You have to do the low level flight first due to their insurance. I've done two flights with AeroSuperBatics so I've been upside-down (as can be seen on my TH-cam channel) but I guarantee that if I were to go with a different company then they would not give me loops and barrel rolls on my first flight with them despite having done them with AeroSuperBatics.

They should have you lay down on the wing like your flying. Also if your giving a thumbs up but then go upside down would the pilot think your giving a thumbs down like you want to land? Man I wish I could expiernce that. That looked fucking sick.
Knock on wood but 1 lady was doing that when the plane crashed and it was actually filmed. Very crazy. The plane hits the ground and she was strapped in on the wing.
I think I know the crash you are talking about. The engine stalled and the pilot tried to turn back when all he had to do was land as they had plenty of space all around the crash site. When he tried to turn back the aircraft lost all lift and the engine then acted as a dart and hit the ground nose first. I spoke to my pilot (Dave the pilot in the above video) about that crash and he said it was pilot error.

He looks quite tall in the video so I'm sure height isn't a problem. There is a weight limit as I saw a video of one guy get turned away from doing a Wing Walk at an airshow. He said to the camera that he was deemed to be overweight but would not say what his weight was or what the weight limit was. Contact AeroSuperBatics to find out.

I've been back there twice to do the fully aerobatic flight but the cloud cover was too low on both occasions. So, I'm now booked for a summertime fully aerobatic flight. Last weekend I did a fully aerobatic flight whilst sat in a 1942 de Havilland Tiger Moth as another 'warm up' to my 'Main Event' flight in the summer! It just gave me a 'feel' for what to expect on my next fully aerobatic Wing Walk.

It was a no from me too but I found that I kept watching wing walking videos plus I only live about 20 minutes drive from the very place in the video so I ended up doing it as can be seen on my TH-cam channel and I was surprised with myself. I found that it isn't as scary as it looks and that doing loops is the best bit!

Having done this twice at the same place I can assure you that there is NOTHING like the view from that top wing looking down on that propeller! It is amazing! Going upside-down is the best bit though! I'm going back for more in April! The two flights I've already done are on my TH-cam channel.
