I love Grimm. I watched this show with my best friend David. He stopped before the end and wanted to come back to it but he died before he got the chance. I miss him a lot and watching this with you has reminded me of the conversations I had with David. It’s been so nice to remember how that felt. It’s been great to hear you express your loyalty to Monroe, Rosalee, Wu, Bud, Nick and Juliette. The writers made so many endearing characters. Even the characters that are more questionable are still complex and have their positive moments.
Agreed, it is so much better when a show comes back off a season ending cliffhanger and keeps the pace and action at the same intensity level. Great season opener and hey another cliffhanger ending!😆

I agree that it's nice to see Truble finding some purpose now that she's the only Grimm in town and it'll be interesting to see how things develop with the crew moving forward and to see what happens with Renard and also on the Woo front now that he's suspicious of Nick and just what he might know... but at least Hank is aware of Woo's troubles again and can give Nick a heads up.... I don't really blame Wu. It's usually pretty obvious when people are hiding something from you. I also think it's human nature to want to know a secret, even if it's going to be dangerous. As for Renard, I didn't really believe he was dead at this point either. My reasoning was he fills a specific void in too many plot lines for them to let him go.
This episode jams too much into a single episode. The case with the Wesen should have been kept completely in the next episode. This episode should deal with the Royals ensuring that Nick is no longer a GRIMM before giving a nudge to a radical group of Wesen that object to mixed Wesen marriages to go after Monroe and Rosalie. The Steinadler FBI agent works for the Royals and suspects Truble of being a GRIMM and asks if they want confirmation. The Royal cannot risk their only agent left in the FBI being exposed. Nick continues to wear the glasses to keep Wesen from realizing he is not a GRIMM. Truble staying with Sean is credited for Sean's survival. Juliet is feeling guilty about what is happening. Wu finds the books in Nick's room and finds the entry about the Aswang. Wu decides not to mention it to Nick while he struggles with the idea of it just being a story and the idea that it might actually be real. The reason for Truble staying there has to do with the men who attacked her The royal instructs his head of security to string Adalind along for a while before revealing to her they do not actually have her child. Adalind traveling was really stupid. it would have raised all kinds of red flags in the original story with their being no record of her having entered the country again. Sean's mother arrives at this house and is played by a much older actress than in this episode and she is responding to the message Sean sent 3 months ago. Monroe and Rosalie want to try to figure out how to undo what Adalind did, but have no idea where to start having no idea what GRIMM abilities actually are or how they function. They find an entry in Rosalie's books about the process involved in changing from one person to another and the pain involved. They realize how desperate Adalind was. Everyone goes to bed but no-one is sleeping. Sean's mother checks with the hospital about his condition then checks into a 4 star hotel and orders room service.

Monroe and Rosalee staying is also a testament to how Nick inspires loyalty, and the stuff with Wu gets so good.
