Nice watching this video, quite educating. In my opinion, it will be alot more cheaper when you know what you want, let an Architect design your plans for you and get a good engineer to oversee your project. My take.

Ugonma. Great video and great to hear your husband talk about his work. Proud of both of you like son and daughter. It also makes someone abroad proud of what you are doing in Nigeria - especially someone fully knowledgeable of built environment for decades. I have few questions, suggestions and comments for you.
1. Where did your husband study his Architecture?
2. He has great presentation voice, however, it was hard to hear him. Perhaps when you interview people, both of you should wear microphones, not just you.
3. Can you please summarise the cost he narrated, into a spreadsheet that perhaps you can post or link into. Since, the discussion was not highly audible to a level.
4. Per a previous suggestion, hopefully also you will be able to do update videos for the finished products and updated final cost for these projects. Another set of videos for you to follow up on.😀.

Based on what I heard, cost of this house (block of 2 bed room flats, 2 storey, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, 2020)
Foundation: 3 - 4 million
Block setting to leveling - approx 3.5 million
Roofing - 2.5 million
Wires and cables - about 1.5 million
POP - 3 - 4 million
Windows+Buglary proof 4+ million
Etc, etc.....
Total cost up to level in picture = 35 million
ALL COSTS IN NAIRA
