tech4ro Just wanted to followup either way and happy to say...WE HAVE POST! Display is working.. :>). OK, so I realize it might only work for a short time, but I'm just happy that it works at all. You did a nice job on the take apart. I was a little unsure of myself when I separated the lower portion as I was looking for a seam in the middle (like previous laptops I've taken apart) but then I watched that you just "went for it" and slid around the top edge, so I did the same. :>) Thanks again, and I'll check out some of your other videos as soon as I fully assemble the laptop.
olle amigo a mi no me aparece el logo de dell cuando prende y no puedo ver el bios sino hasta que ya haya cargado windows cuando aparece el raton hasta ahi prende la pantalla tengo que ocupar una pantalla externa conectada a vga para poder ver en la bios y configurar solucion porfas es la misma dell vostro 1310
A bateria é fácil de remover. Na parte de trás em baixo, tem duas palhetas com cadeado desenhado. Coloca as duas na posição aberta e puxa a parte de baixo de trás para trás. Não precisa desparafusar nada

To replace the BIOS battery, do you need to disassemble the entire computer?
