Minnesota and Chicago exceeding expectations. Amazing what Lynx have done with 1 star player - other top teams have 3 each. I do expect Lynx to begin to fall down to about 5th by end of season, just due to the tremendous talent of the top teams. I think we both had Minnesota about #9 in preseason rankings. It has been a season of surprises with Minn, Vegas, Chicago and Dallas all having crazy starts. Thanks again for expert analysis and content.

They’re 9.9+ below league average in defensive rating, lynx are legit having a historic defensive season

❤❤ exactly that versatile, read and react philosophy where the major core is more of a versatile talented support than a ball hog (since not all iso players are ballhogs) and you let whoever shine on any given night...i truly believe this is what the wnba has evolved into (due to the path they developed since wnba players played both American and international ball in the same year) and why becky (being developed as a coach with the spurs) is so successful in the wnba ....i truly believe wnba teams success (with exceptions of course) is when players understand they shouldn't be like nba players but more so like soccer/futbol players in how they are versatile, have good ball movement and know how to read and react to situations
