My girlfriend and I were really into them back in 03-04, I still think they have some good songs I listen to still to this day. Them and Yellowcard seemed like two sides of the same coin honestly. I enjoy listening to music from 90's to mid 2000's, because after that it slowly became garbage (minus the bands that had formed prior and were making albums still).
This Here Takes me way back where my bestfriend was family and nothing mattered more than the loyalty we had will never forget Story Of The Year Page Avenue And during this time Paramore was staringout
Most of the time, a "bad" sounding voice is a result of strain, a nasally sound, or something that can be fixed by working with a professional. Very rarely is there such thing as a bad sounding voice if the person uses proper technique and has good pitch awareness
WRONG! Singing takes more practice than any instrument I know of, except maybe the hammer dulcimer. It's not just being "born with good vocal cords" for most people. Some, yes, but only very very few can just naturally sing extremely well. For most, it's extremely long hours of practice.
I mean no offense to SOTY, they're a great band with a lot of talent, but their talents are much more geared towards the style they normally play. That being said, these acoustic versions? Still some of the best out there, but I think Yellowcards AOL sessions surpasses SOTY's by far with the acoustic abilities they bring. Still love both bands, just think SOTY's acoustics, cept for until the day I die, could use some work.
@ultraviolet14xx Except that music isn't talent; you bust your ass to learn an instrument, and that becomes skill that you earned, and good singers are lucky to be born with good vocal cords.
False; if you weren't born with a good sounding voice, I don't care how you practice, you're fucked. I had no vocal training at all, I was just lucky enough to have a decent one.
Such a great 2000s high school summer song
This band is incredible live. Dan's vocals are my absolute favorite ❤
Pity more people never gave great bands like SOTY a chance. They don't even know what they're missing.
you know someone def has talent when they can sing live. i love them, they're amazing.
udah 5 thn tapi masih ada di playlist gue :D yg acoustic version nya juga enak buat didengerin
they're awesome. I've been listening to this album for three years and yet my ears are still wide-open to hear it again and again :)
