Their method of Qiyas is unknown. There are no evidences provided from the Quran and the Sunnah. The only thing mentioned is that “The scholars agreed on it”. However, I can present a counter-evidence based on this fact by saying that the scholars have also agreed AGAINST it. No amount of interest is Halal and the one that claims this needs to bring strong evidences. Not light statements like "The scholars have agreed on it". because other groups of scholars have HEAVILY disagreed with this. The summary is: Only handful of shares are halal as they do not deal in interest, and scholars have advised staying away from this market altogether due to the Haraam and doubtful matters involved. May Allah guide us.
If you can do your own ijtihad or the scholar(s) you follow then from this definition please stay away from all stocks as most if not all have some level of involvement with conventional interest. Also using fiat currency will be problematic for you as that is also based on interest as the entire current monetary system is based on it. So please revert to the barter system and move to the jungles to live!
@ May Allah bless you. Brother there are other investments other than stocks. We have gold, property, and others, all of which are currently doing better than stocks in terms of stability and value. And there is always business/e-commerce. Hence, there are always other Halal pathways open. You are forgetting the matter at hand: You opened the video asking for proofs from the Quran and Sunnah regarding the percentages, and the Mufti replied with none. Not one Ayah nor one Hadith to justify this major sin. If we follow this type of scholar, based on our own wordily wants and desires, it is feared that we may taken to account based on this Ayah: At-Taubah 9:31 ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَحۡبَارَهُمۡ وَرُهۡبَٰنَهُمۡ أَرۡبَابًا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allah) Alhamdulilah Allah has given us the Qur'an, the sunnah and our own intellect, so we don't have to blindly follow others in their mistakes. The matter regarding the impermissibility of Riba is crystal clear to us. As for those who made mistakes or purposely made the Haraam into Halal, May Allah guide them. I do not say this by my own as i am a Jahil, but i say this from learning about this issue in detail from the scholars. Barakallahu Feek!
Wailaikumsalaam, actually the issue is that you have a limited understanding on how the Sharia (Islamic Law) is derived. The sources of the noble Sharia are not just the Holy Quran and Hadith though they are the primary 1st and 2nd sources. They are both Major and Minor sources as you can see from the chart we have posted on our channel of the Major and Minor Sources of Sharia (Islamic Law). When dealing with issues in modern times and especially with regards to Islamic banking & finance matters, Sharia scholars also draw upon Ijma (Consensus) and Qiyas (Analogy) that are the other Major Sources of the Sharia after the Holy Quran and the Hadith, and when not able to form opinion on any particular matter even then, they then use one of the Minor Sources of Sharia such as Istislah (Public Interest), Ijtihad (Interpretation) and Urf (Customs). Also, this leeway of the scholars giving permission for the public to use these Sharia compliance financial ratios to determine maximum allowed Haram investments, debt or income is only for those investors who are Minority Shareholders (Retail Public) and not for the Major Institutional Investors/Promoters/Majority Shareholders who can influence the management decisions of any listed company. For such shareholders, even a minute quantity of interest-bearing debt or income is not permitted. Hope the above answers your question.
@@zamzamcapital Brother even the minor sources are derived from the Quran and Sunnah. You are only listing the methodologies without actually listing the proofs used for their Qiyas. Just trusting someone due to a "Muft" title is not enough as becoming a Mufti is easy nowadays. We have soo many Muftis but very few actually hold true knowledge. You are only telling us the probable methods (like Qiyas, Ijmaa, etc.) they used without the exact sources that allowed these methods to be used in the first place.

@zamzamcapital Yes, I have limited understanding. At the start of the video, you asked for references from the Quran and Hadith, but you provided an answer based on the point of view of scholars. I came here to watch this video to understand how these ratios are derived. If you have any clarification, please make a video on it
