It seems like people are not having buffets anymore. No disrespect, but when people are asked to attend their party, and they are taking time out of their day to SUPPORT the family, spending money on a gift; the very least the family could do is feed their people. Today it's so easy to go to Costco or other stores that have ready made food if you don't have time to cook. My mom always said if you expect people to come, you need to feed them a good lunch/dinner.
