Hey Kella, thank you for watching and supporting my efforts. There's no difference in taste. Sometimes I steam my duff too. God bless you my sister.
What if the duff comes out the pillow case. Can it be fix or the duff aint good anymore
Thank you for watching and I appreciate your support. 'IF' the duff comes out of the pillowcase or cloth, just scrape the outer layer off, because its going to be really soft and wet, then ENJOY. You could also use foil paper as well.
I did this recipe today. The dough was soggy on the outside but perfect on the inside? I wonder what I did wrong. Besides that I got lots of compliments from the family. Thank you!
Hello Rushida, thank you for watching and I appreciate your support. What happened? Did you wrapped the dough? Was it taking out of the pot as soon as you shot the heat off? But, I'm glad that you were still able to enjoy it.
Did you you ever find out what carrier ships from your end to Barbados? I’m anxiously awaiting for some of these tasty delights sis!🤣

Thank you for watching my friend.
Bout to make me some tomorrow 🤧 Me and bae dont like the guava chunks, so I'll try blending the guavas instead of putting the whole guavas at the center. I'm also gonna use cream cheese and bacardi in my sauce. Wish me luck 😊😊
Heyyyyyy Crystalline, thank you for watching and supporting my channel. I appreciate your kindness. Go ahead and do your thing my friend...I am sure you will be proud of yourself. Happy cooking now!
@@Melda242 yes, it was the bomb dot com. My first time making it too. I was a little worried because I had to use foil to boil it, but it came out great. Thx for the videos, they helped alot!!
My pleasure, my friend.
Hello👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🔔👀👈
Thanks for coming
hello! In the GUAVA DUFF WITH BRANDY SAUCE recipe, 5 eggs were used " to make plenty sauce" . in the REAL BAHAMIAN GUAVA DUFF recipe 2 eggs were used. Can I also use 5 eggs in the REAL BAHAMIAN GUAVA DUFF instead of 2 , to get more sauce? Or using 5 eggs in that one will change how the sauce taste?
hello Diane, thank you for watching and supporting my channel. No, the amount of eggs will not alter the taste in any way. As a matter of face, you could us as many as you want. Happy cooking my family.
@@Melda242 Thank you very much for that info. . I'll be making this guava duff & the guava pound cake again..... My family enjoyed it so much my nephew wants me to make those 2 desserts for his birthday tomorrow. Thanks again for sharing your wonder recipes.

Hello
Welcome and thank you for visiting. I appreciate your support.
My sauce always comes out watery:(....and i was wondering if u can use cream cheese instead of butter.plz help...lolol
Hello Shonell, thank you for supporting my channel. The problem is, you are probably not mixing long enough before adding the ingredients in. Sis, try to follow the video and for the cream cheese, I've had it before, but never used it in my sauce. Don't be afraid to allow your mixer to work for you sis. Don't give up, try it again!
@@Melda242 thank you.....so what i did after i couldnt get it do like yours....lol....i use the cream cheese and it came soooo good......thank you so much....
It cuddles because egg and butter don't mix well together. It requires a lot of mixing. Try using less eggs and cream egg and butter mixture thoroughly before adding the next egg.
You are a wonderful student! God bless you!
