    How do you deal with new venues and power distro?

    Great vid - thanks! Do you take a deposit and is it a percentage for the date? When do you collect the remainder and finally, are you seeing any payment method being more popular (Venmo, PayPal) or do you offer a variety of ways?

    How do you deal with being ghosted? No replies? How many times do you call a potential client or txt or email them before you say lets move on.

      I don’t. I legit do not follow up. If they never respond to my email that I send after the meeting, then I chalk it up as a loss. I’m not saying this is the best way but I’m fortunate enough to have used social media to create a brand strong enough that puts me in high demand so I can get away with joy following up or chasing clients. If they book, they book. If not, then I assume I wasn’t the best fit for them for whatever reason.

    Great tips. This is the conversation I have with my couples when they tell me I want all country. And I say you think all ur guest will enjoy all evening. I suggest mixing it up a bit to entertain your guests, yes it's ur wedding but you gotta keep in mind ur guests I think. If you're still only want country I'm not your guy. Maybe if you don't want other songs maybe when you send ur invites ask your guests for a couple of songs they would like to hear. And you guys can screen those songs out if you really don't want to hear that song. Guest ate expecting those songs and they don't come up to the DJ and ask again. We can plan better.

    Love the advice man! So when people reach out, do they reach out through SEC or hit you up personally?? I have a few djs on board and am trying to figure out the best way to book them out as well!

    Yo Nick! What app are you using for taking notes? I like how you can select the slides and email it to them.

    Great topic and information!
    I give my cell number to all my clients once they book with me. It has led to tons of repeat business throughout the years after the initial booking.
    I have also tried different sale pitches or methods. I was taught via books and seminars to ask for the sale on the spot, and I hated doing that!
    I no longer give out any pricing over the phone aside from a starting price for the specific service requested. I now email them a detailed proposal based on our conversation after I get off the phone. (via Check Cherry)
    I also 100% agree that not all prospective clients are a good fit! If their vision or requests do not fit our style. I'll tell them we're not a good fit for them and move on.

    what if... you hold a date for someone "for as long you want" and then you get a client that wants to book you on that same date?

    • @NickSpinelli
      @NickSpinelli  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If I haven’t talked to the client since the meeting, I shoot them a courtesy email to let them know someone else is interested and to see where they are at. If I don’t get a response in 48 hours - THEY GONE

    Nick , out of curiosity , what % of your yearly weddings gigs are customers ready to book with you without even doing a sales call/video call? (basically they know you, your prices , and they want to book without a sales call)

      I meet with every client no matter what to make sure we’re a good fit for each other. But idk, I’d say 70% are very very motivated to book me before we meet because of videos online etc. We’re up front about pricing as well to make people aware of where I’ll fall within their budget. But bottom line, social media does make sales much much easier for me.
