It’s something I fortunately had the pleasure to learn. I personally could not ever be with out a dog. Worst part is when you say your final goodbye. That being said, It’s also the best blessing that we outlive our best friend so they don’t have to feel what we do. I hope for the best times for you and Rocco!
Early this year I got a dog who seems to be bred from a red nose pitbull and some other random dog (some neighbors gave her to me, they don't know anything about her origins). When she was smaller she had a pitbull-like face (now it's longer and looks less like a pitbull) and she has a red nose and eye sockets. She's WAY too energetic like you describe and she's very intelligent too. Our neighbors didn't give her any training so she struggled with obedience a bit but she learnt and is learning fast, also she's really clingy and bitey, early on she couldn't contain the biting and wouldn't stop on command but we managed to make her understand. Such good dogs!

when a pup is young turn it on its back. put your hand like a claw on its belly. if it fights or if it submits you will have a good idea what attitude the pup will have
Why do I automatically want to brag about my red? Lol. I'm in Dallas. I went to the store for a cold beer & there sat a man with 3. His parents & his pick of the litter. Dude's Cadillac broke down & I pull up in 1. I didn't know what they went for, call a couple friends. I guess they weren't listening & told me to pass & could get me 1 much cheaper. I decided to go with my gut. U got a steal & they ask how I got him. I respond, I didn't listen to my friends. Tan/ perfect white socks. Tyson after Mike cuz he used to bite ears.
The colour of the dog is sable not red, these dog's are more than likely bred from the litters l bred the last one was about 18 year's ago, my gal's was a prue Jocko dog, good luck with him,
Yes I mostly use high quality dog food treats are full of sugar so I don't give them too him .he's a hungry dog so dog food works fine .if your dog won't take dog food as a treat use chicken
@@Elyeyi05 don’t use raw meat ever... you could use raw hot dogs but I would be careful even with that. Cheese works good, just cut it into pea sized pieces... tiny pieces are best. My dog was on a raw food diet and got really sick from it. I just use a really high end kibble now. None of the Walmart/ grocery store garbage.

I got a 8 month female red nose Pitbull myself and I really like her just too dem energetic and incredibly strong definitely not a beginner breed.
