Wonderful advice Maria! Love your videos love you and the love you have for your plants really shows on every video I know I said that before but I'll keep saying it! I'm at a low part in my life right now and the only thing that keeps me going is my plants. If it wasn't for them I just lay in bed and cry. If you bring joy into my life when I watch your videos because it reminds me that I have a reason to get out of bed. I have a lot of different house plants I do not have a desert rose but in December I started to take care of orchids and now have over 25. Almost all of them are still blooming and I've learned a lot from you and Rick's orchids and Jacqueline's orchids only Jacqueline is spelled with an O not the way my computer types it. I've learned how to make potting soil from you I've learned all about Epsom salts and fertilizers and seaweed fertilizer from Rick's orchids and what parts per million means from him. And from Carolyn I've learned and from work that the orchids need to be rinsed before they need to be soaked in the water. Thank you so much
Toylin StLouis omg I was joking my middle it’s Maria Trinidad Lol 😂 now you understand what I was talking about thank you for way channel Maria’s garden
Maria, your amazing ❤ I just found your videos and have learned so much! My husband loves Desert Roses and has a bunch. I've been teasing him because almost everything he's done is WRONG 😂 I'm surprised they're all still alive! I have one baby I started from seed that's about 1.5 years old. It has a nice caudex but I know I've planted it wrong. I live locally, if I bring it by would you show me what I should do with it? I promise I won't leave empty handed, I love succulents too! Love your hair - Happy (belated) Easter ❤
Maria here's another site where they have desert roses it's called gardening needs patience... He doesn't talk but he does demonstrate with his video I just watched his video where he joined to Desert Rose seedlings together to grow up as one plant. He also says you can join for Desert Rose seedlings. He also showed how to grow desert roses from cuttings. I thought you might be interested
Hi Maria you look great. Love seeing you with your crowns of flowers again. Sorry but sound was not very good bc of wind. Missed important info u shared. I wasn’t able to call u Friday. I hope this Friday works out. Blessings!
I have a suggestion for you and that's to show us your succulents because not only would I like to buy a desert rose but I'd also like to buy some succulents and I feel like if you sent me cuttings I could get them to Route because of the fact you touched do such a good job teaching us how to propagate air plants. One day I will call you on the phone take care of my friend
Hi maria am happy to say I found a dessert rose at Walmart a couple days ago and is from costa farm is a beautiful variegated varietés but is grafted of course the problem is that the flowers where dying and am worried it my be problem with it ? Any advice? It looks it my have been overwatered for the long travel please help like always thanks in advance I couldn’t post the picture here so I sent to you on your WhatsApp page thanks again
yvette herrera Hi Yvette remember this plants are growing in large greenhouses and the have large fans and they keep about 60 to 70 degrees so when they take them to the store they need to be adjusted to the out doors weather this’s the reason I said plant needs to place in the shade after purchase thank you Maria’s garden
I found someone else in India I think that also loves desert roses. He calls them by their Latin name it begins with a and I don't know h ow to spell it adeniums or something... Anyhow the name of his channel on you tube is.... dot basecamp. He has beautiful desert roses and even shows how to make them into bonsai. TH-cam just suggested his channel to me today go to his channel Maria if you want to watch somebody that loves his desert roses as much as you do. He also has other videos I've only watched two so far but very interesting. He also talks about proper drainage watering and fertilizing
Hi Maria do you have an email address I could send some pictures to you on? I've had a desert rose for a few years now like maybe 4-5 years. There wasn't much progress with it and then we got hit by a hurricane when I came to check on it it had terrible root rot! The bulb actually was busted open, it was really gross, I panicked and planted it again in soil with osmocote. After watching your vids I decided to check on it to see what the root system would be like, because it's been a about two years since I repotted it. It has grown new root, but the bulb is not as beautiful as what your show in your videos. What do you recommend that I do? I really love my faithful plant.
Happy Earth Day my friend. Would you like some fresh Amaryllis seeds to try planting? The seed pod just opened and I am letting them dry. Here is a video: royalcolors.com/blog/amaryllis-after-christmas-now-what/ royalcolors.com/blog/amaryllis-propagation-is-typically-done-by-seed-or-by-cuttage/ I only share my plants and seeds with people I like and who love plants like I do. Have you ever heard of a Nun's Orchid? It is a terestrial orchid that you can plant in the ground. I bought the last one at a nursery and thought it was very interesting. I am thinking desert rose soil mix.
The white desert rose I bought from you a few months ago has beautiful white blooms all over it... I'm so so happy. Thank you so much Maria 😀
