Thank you Brian it has some issues i had to turn the avc off to keep it bound and the servo saver was cracked couldn't believe it broke that easy have it all straight now till the next time lol
I actually just got back from the hobby store it had a crack in the servo save causing it to skip and the bind issue still hasn't been resolved the right way it holds bind if the avc is turned off but loses of bind after a few power ups with it on strange
I have found though when I turn my Ryft on I don't lose bind or control but it does take anywhere from 10 to 20 seconds before I get any response from it. It won't start and instantly drive
My Lasernut does the same thing, with the Tx/Rx issue. If I wiggle the steering trim a few times after turning the system on then it finishes connecting and off we go. Give it a shot if you haven't yet.
My front axle broke half way into second battery. I’m already looking at a new ESC and motor as well. The handling is horrible but I think the platform has loads of potential.
Mine broke the servo saver and had to disable the avc to keep it bound i agree its a good platform lits of fun but should have been better for the price
I had a servo go bad ,, and it was the default on the ESC , not responding I really thought I had the some problem as u . With binding. I Thank if you tried a different servo mite fix it. ?
I will post a video on binding thr RYFT later today so i can help everyone who is having trouble binding mine is not holding bind it keeps coming unbound so i have had to bind it several times
Thats weird.. did you find out what was the issue? For it to lose all sort of controls perhaps it has became unbinded, unless the receiver is busted which is unlikely since your rig is new.
@@AdventureTimeRC oh I see, good luck with Axial, they are normally really good with after sale support. Hopefully they will be able to advise or send you a new receiver. Still not sure why they have included a 6 channels receiver as including two speeds transmission plus light kit is still 4 channels only. What were they thinking, maybe we should dig in a bit further. Haha. I have the Ryft in black, UK only have black version at the moment. My transmitter and receiver seems to work OK but I haven't really tested it outside due to lockdown. I have bought a new Spektrum DX5 Rugged as it will give me all the settings I need to program the motor and ESC. You still running the stock DX3?
Yeah so far I am not super impressed with Spektrums new smart tech stuff. Seeing a lot of issues like this across a bunch of different rigs. That being said the Ryft looks like a lot of fun, a bit of a handful but I think some tuning and it will be a runner.!! Great stuff my friend!!!
It is allot of fun don't care for the avc stuff it acts up on my felony to it needed to me better designed so many people are having problems and some people can't afford new trucks like this very often so they are really upset they bought it and can't get parts
Man, mine out the box was unbound & I was so frustrated. But got binded, & been great. I think I'm turning it into a crawler that can be ripped around. A sensored electronic system would be awesome.

Dude this is a killer looking rig it’s a bummer about the servo saver which might of not saved the servo. But I got To say that the power hobby 400kg servo is the best to date I have tried so far as power and responce yet quiet as hell for being digital. Id like to switch all my rigs out to that one at a time.
I'm having the exact same results with my RYFT, took it out first time, it ran fine. The next day didn't get 20 feet lost bind, or that seems to be the only logical explanation, I'm already looking at different esc/motor combos but I shouldn't have to after dropping $530 on my rig. Aggravated...
Mine did this on day one after i binded it and ran it. But i figured it out. You gotta turn the remote on before you even plug in the battery. Thats what works for mine anyway
My servo saver is not springy anymore. I couldnt see a crack tho. Im gonna buy the hot racing servo saver. Looks pretty stout and has a good stiff spring

I've had mine for three weeks and with less than 5 hours of drive time and many many things breaking, My best advice is DO NOT BUY A RYFT. I can not say it any clearer, the RYFT is a $500 buy in for a $1200 RC car if you want to drive it for what it is trying to simulate. There are so many other things wrong with this RC the Breakage is only the START.
I can understand how many people feel this way it has definitely had a ton of problems i think waiting for the kit would be the way to go after i replaced lots of parts i really like mine thanks for watching and being honest 👍
I'm sure if you send Axial an email they will figure it out or send you the parts you need, don't get me wrong it still sucks to have a new truck brake
@@AdventureTimeRC I’ve found that when I turn mine on it has to be flat on the ground. Let it finish beeping,wait about 10 seconds then turn the wheel full left then full right a couple times, wait a few seconds and then everything starts working. So odd! Works every single time on mine now 🤷🏻♂️. Just don’t bit any throttle until you do the left and right in the wheel a couple times. It’ll start turning after a few seconds and then the throttle works as well.
Horizon product... pushing crap out the door... as much as I want this for a coastal Dune basher. too many broken ones in the first pack. that's crazy. maybe if this was $200..
This is exactly the kind of crap i'm talking about! Does horizon even test this stuff? You were using it exactly as I would expect a rock bouncer to be used and it can't handle it! Imagine if you were running 4s! I still have a bad taste in my mouth over the umg10. This is what happens when a company gets to big Q.C goes out the window and makes our whole hobby look bad! Imagine if you were a first time buyer getting into the hobby with zero knowledge, this would be a crap first experience. At least people like us can fix this stuff but the point is after dropping 500$ you shouldn't have to. The rtr spektrum radio in my 6x6 glitched so bad brand new that I switched the radio gear out on the 3rd run! I know this wont be a popular stance to take but I don't know if I will continue buying horizon products or not. Wake up Horizon your dropping the ball like you are getting payed to.I know that there are alot of people out there with good axial stuff but this crap happens way to often! I think you make a good point Tyler i own allot of axial products and horizon hobbies stuff in general i have had two leaking pro boats a bad servo in my honcho when i bought it and the esc is acting up in the felony i wish they would quality control their stuff better because i love horizon hobbies the have a huge selection of vehicles and accessories i just got a 2.2 Wraith at a swap meet today it is really a bummer when stuff like this happens i have been waiting for months to get this rig and when it works its awesome oh well what can you do at least horizon has good customer support i know they will make it right but what a pain

How it handles looks to be just as big of a problem as the electronics.

Mine did the same with the servo saver, and the bind did take an extra 15 seconds to communicate
It had a broken servo saver and i had to disarm the avc to keep bind

2FM RC had to reset the esc and rebind, his was possessed at first!
