I was a freshman in high school when Escape came out… and I knew the previous albums too. They are UNBEATABLE! Forty five years later it’s STILL my #1 with nobody even coming close. Nobody is better. I literally listen almost DAILY all these years later, never tired of it. They were MAGIC together but Steve’s vocals are beyond Heavenly. Glorious. Totally. Go back to Infinity and Evolution albums. Check out ‘Winds of March’ and ‘Patiently’ and so many others. You may have already done it…. They’re GREAT albums and the others are fantastic too but Evolution and Infinity are my personal faves.
