    Fantastic walking as always. Looks like some well worn paths and not too difficult. We're dealing with hot temps here in New England lately - that river dip at the end is torturing me!

    Brilliant as always Paul, what I remember most about these two was the super steep ascent of Aonach Beag and meeting a crazy guy on a mountain bike at the summit of Aonach Mor (grizzly Munro diaries) what a great guy. Steep descent off 2nd Munro but cracking day 😊👍

      Oh you’re very welcome Paul. Looked amazing. Oh that’s great you found a plunge pool too. That sounds awesome. Always love a paddle after a hike. I did Ben Nevis last October. No view at the top though so though this walk would be great to see Ben Nevis. 5 Munros for me so far. Sun notes Ben Vorlich at loch earn a few weeks back. Cracking day with my two beagles. That looked a fabulous hike though that you did.Looking to do Ben lawers next week on my hols. Attempted Bruach bath Frithe on Skye in May but on my own anc my youngest dog was struggling. 30 mins from the summit too 🙈😂

      Yeah the views over to the Ben and the CMD arete are amazing from there! well worth a visit if you get the lovely but hot weather we got!
      Ben Lawers is a great hill, that plus Beinn Ghlas is a good wee double and even An Stuc if your up for it! Or all seven if your super fit..!!!!
      Bruach na Frithe was our last munro on Sky and it was a brilliant feeling to have visited them all. Hard work going back when you have been so close...
      I had a similar experience just this weekend....
      Anyway good luck on the next few munros and let me know how you go, double figures loom then you will be heading for 100!!!!
      Cheers
      Paul.

    What a stunning video. I’m planning to climb Ben Nevis via the ledge route and then cross over to the Aonachs via the CMD Arete. I want to possibly have a bivvy camp on Aonach Beag before continuing east to climb all the Munros along the ridge. My biggest worry is water. It looks like I’ll be able to get some before I do the final climb up to Aonach Mor though. Thanks for sharing!

    • @PAADVENTURES1
      @PAADVENTURES1  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks Ben! We absolutely knocked it off with the weather that day! Quite a spectacular day with amazing visibility. The descent from CMD is extremely steep as is the ascent back up to Aonach mor! Prepare for that! There are a few watercourses around so you should be good for water! There is certainly a small burn at the low point between CMD and Aonach mor. A stunning area and in the right weather you are in for a fantastic adventure! I take it from the Aonachs you will head to the grey corries? Another amazing area! Anyway thanks for the support! Much appreciated. Paul

    • @benvickery

      @@PAADVENTURES1 thanks for replying. Im planning on going east all the way to Stob Ban dropping down to cross Abhainn Rath and then working my way across all the Mamore Munros. Bivvying high up avoids the midges (hopefully) but water is harder to come by. Dropping down has water but midges. I can’t wait as it’s going to be a big adventure.
