I am currently looking to open an online clothing store and noticed this brand as one of the offered products under the "eco-friendly" category so I started digging. I found this video and wow....I cannot WAIT to show my customers this and be JUST as transparent as you guys are being with this video. This is the new standard of doing business for me: ethically. So This video gave me all the green flags I needed to make sure never to offer a Gildan shirt on my store again.
I am a pop-culture fanatic and I love a great nerdy tee. But when I flip the tag of my Marvel branded shirt over and see it is made in China/Honduras/Bangladesh my heart sinks. I never want my customers to feel that way.
But... where does the fabric come from? What about those workplaces?
I wish you guys actually had GOTS standard cotton.
After watching an investigation of Nike sweatshops in Indonesia I think I will go with B+C for my brand and others alike.
