For the first time I had heard Madanji in radio Ceylon years ago when there was no TV or internet .Madanji ki awaaj main jo dard hai wah Bayan nahin kiya ja sakta hai. Truely a music director has song from the inner heart. Such creative artists never born again and again.
I too heard it on Vividh Bharati DECADES ago and immediately felt that it is possibly better than the Lata version... and was SO glad to find it on TH-cam after all these years
