- I assume this is already posted somewhere, but I can't find it. Apparently this is from 1990, and elsewhere I see the contestant identified as Stan Jointer. The Winner's Circle bonus round was very challenging for many players, but Stan made it look easy with the minimum allotted time. I LOVED his reaction when he won the car, that was incredible!
He played that like a boss. I know it would be nice to go for a specific car, but I would just match them and just get the car I matched last.

NBC controls the rights to this program, not Fremantle. So we'll be lucky if we ever see a revival of this.
axelrayne69 The personality of the host brings out the best of the show. I like Alex Trebek's level of professionalism and humor, and Drew Carey's blah attitude and Steve Harvey's perverted (I'm no prude, but I hate how he makes the show about him, and drags a contestant's answer out five minutes, and makes it about him every time) mind would make the show unwatchable. You don't have to be rude toward me.

Overall, no one gives a SHIT about what you have to say, because the bottom line is that it's all about the contestants who try to win not the host.

@@disneyfan8178 but contestant Stan won the car round on Classic Concentration in the shortest amount of time :25 seconds. Including, on Let's Make a Deal in the Car Pong game, under the game show host Wayne Brady, contestants won the car in less than:20, by:02 or:05 seconds. That's considered the quickest shortest amount of time in game show history.
Impressive! Stan had only the minimum amount of time to work with (35 secs.), and for the largest part was utilizing the process of elimination, and knocking out any pairs almost as soon as he came across a match later on the board. Nicely done!
Oh yes, you posted the Tournament of Champions appearance. (Thank you!!) It's definitely worth a look. CC was a great show, and Alex Trebek displayed an offbeat sense of humor. That particular episode was slightly odder than usual. I'll edit the link into my video description.
Once he got on a roll with matches he could not be stopped...imagine some of the prizes on updated version today

Wouldn't say owns it. He is just not one of the many idiots who randomly guess around the board. But there were plenty of contestants who knew how to play intelligently and did the same thing. He stood out in that he never once remembered wrong when he uncovered the second one of any car.

Yes, and we know NBC ain't gonna do anything with Concentration. They only leased it to Goodson/Todman, Mark Goodson Television Productions.
In the wake of the retro game shows on ABC this summer, NBC should do the same thing next summer with Concentration. The cars they should offer in the bonus round should be like a Fiat 500, Ford Fusion, Jeep Wrangler, Porsche Cayenne, Hyundai Sonata, Lexus SUV, Chevrolet Impala, and Ram 1500.

No 25sec., the clock stopped when made last match. It stopped with 10sec., left meaning he did it in 25sec., not 24
CC IS on Buzzr, weekdays at 1:00PM and 1:30PM

Now fierra76, I think the full episode of this was posted by HYHYBT, if you want to remember that old account. It was the same person who uploaded a handful of Combs' Feud episodes as well as a number of Pyramid episodes. It was a shame that somebody wanted to ask him to remove the Murphy Brown episodes but tends to ignore the person about it, the "Murphy Brown" and "Bob" episodes are what gave him the copyright strikes.

It's Fremantle's property, not NBC. Plus, have some patience; BUZZR will get to it eventually. They're at 1989 right now, which incidentally was not seen in reruns.

It'd be nice if you could have picked your car. I mean if you can memorize where the car you wants numbers are and then pick everything else before hand you'd be able to get It I guess.

Yes, via a crane to carefully put the cars in position.
That would take forever and how would you get the crane in and out of there? I’m guessing they rolled or drove the cars onto those little platforms on each step, and then they had hydraulic lifts like you would see at an auto mechanic.

Used to be less common. Example car rental fleets would use it as upsell in Vancouver- yes hunidity made it warm sitting in teaffic - to like a tempo or taurus vs chevy sprint
