OUCH- The "you sound just like your mother" part KILLED ME because every time I watch that scene, Ruby telling Qrow she needs him to trust her, the face he makes just kills me. Because you cannot tell me that Qrow doesn't see Summer in Ruby during that moment. (also I think Qrow loved Summer and I follow the somewhat hated theory that Ruby is Qrow's daughter so this entire edit hurts but is also my favorite.)
I mean I don't hate tai but I don't like him either, simple because there nothing to like about him at all since he doesn't even get good amount of screen time for people to actually grow to like him in the show, all we currently know for sure is that he was a member to team strq he was the one who raised Ruby and yang, and he was close to summer, I won't say their in love simple because it wasn't even stated that those 2 actually loved each other just as it wasn't also stated that they actually merried at point, and let's be honest if the tai manage to move on from heartbreak from raven just from 2 years when it was stated "when mom left, dad just... Shutdown" this implies that tai is a guy that loves someone for real. So when saying that after 2 years tai moved on to summer is just really stupid, and if he did then what was stopping him to love again after summer passed on? I don't personally think to much on ships but from all the info available on the show that we can gather, I think its safe to assume that qrow really had a deep connection with summer more so than tai. "but monty oum himself said that qrow is not Ruby's father" of course monty would say that, think about if it was an important plot on the story would monty really give away that info truthfully? Of course not. If I was the creator of a show of course I would give false info on the fans, I don't to spoil something that will happen in future show. But other than all of what I said "we still don't know" so all we can do is watch the show and hope in goes in the direction we hope for. And pray that no character potential would be wasted like what happened to the best villain aka mad bull.
