Hi there all my beautiful butterflies, so I thought I would take you up close and personal to the Bates Motel…since the set is like 20 mins from where I live. No, I haven't seen the show yet but I will watch it I promise and if you like this video thumbs it up for more TV and Movie close ups ( they film lots here ). What do they film April? Glad you asked lol besides Bates Motel there is Supernatural, Once Upon A Time and movies they filmed Deadpool here. So let me know if you want me to sneak on sets and try to get some great behind the scenes stuff…without getting tossed in jail lol. How awesome to live to close to the set and other sets like Supernatural and Deadpool. I highly recommend watching Bates Motel. It is addicting.

This set is not even close to where they film Deadpool and SPN... Most movies and shows are filmed in Vancouver/Downtown/West Van... Bates Motel is filmed in Langley/Aldergrove AKA The Boonies/The Sticks lol
But yes very cool to be able to watch the final cut of these things and be able to recognize the spots. I am about 15 min away from where they filmed Deadpool. Shut down a major part of the city for months!!
+Klynne516 yes dead pool was shot in Vancouver but Supernatural is film out here most of the time in the as you call it sticks mostly the valley but lots in Fort Langley where I live I will be filming the locations and I totally understand the pain in the bum them shutting down to film is

If you still haven't seen the tv show Bates Motel, please take your free time to check it out. There are already 3 seasons available on Netflix that you can watch. You can watch it as well on A&E but they are already at the 4th Season. This show is awesome and spine-tingling. The actors deliver their best performance each episode. So everyone should check it out! I love your vlog by the way!

Drove over to see the set yesterday. It's all double gated around the motel and house now. Just got into the show last month and watched all four seasons now. SO good!!!

+Mike It is a neat looking set....and it is on the old garbage dump actually....and...the new garbage "transfer station" is located across the street. It is so cool how they hide that. It's down a long country road...not a lot of traffic except for people going into the dump. The set is probably a couple hundred feet past the dump entrance. The day we went there it was fairly overcast...dark clouds....really made that house on the hill look kind of spooky...Hope I didn't spoil the "magic" for you. April will be showing some other locations as well. Take care.

Great vacation destination if I do say so myself...The Bates set is actually about 45 minutes east of Vancouver in the Fraser Valley...very, very east to find. Great time to come as your US Dollars go a long way here.
My dream was to visit this set... but nowadays I think that it doesn’t exist anymore 😣😭

Well I haven't seen the show yet but from the reviews I've been hearing about the show I'll check it out and I guess the final season obviously ends with Norman killing his mom and her new boyfriend Plus the two other victims after that before the events of the first psycho movie

No....its Aldergrove Canada. All of Bates Motel was filmed in Canada.

I went where they filmed The Twighlight Saga in Forks Washington i tought it was gonna be cool as hell and the only thing that town has is that old truck they used in the film so nothing else the town is small and boring it has beautiful views but i think all Washington state has them.
Super sad, they just dismantled the house AND the hotel today!! :(
p.s. The actual show kind of sucks, but that August Rush dude stars in it. It's on Netflix lol
