Thanks. I find that, with the rectangle, instead of using two rails, one on each side of the curve, placing a single 45° rail directly through the corner works best for me. The same seems to work well for other curves and corners, too.
See even though i already new most of this i kept it on while working. I picked up on your short stitch setting to stop as many needle pokes on the border. Patches after i cut the felt, and just leaving it suspended on the stabilizer, are getting tears and i end up loosing the whole patch. Ill give it a try.
I worry to my patch will detach from stabilizer. I was keeping the zig zag distance to no less than default, .4 ? I will experiment more with that distance. Having a wide satin with short short stitch can lead to interesting effects. Like for shading or highlights in a big design.
A regular font letter to be digitized properly most letters wil be build out of multiple satin stitch objects and running stitches if you go to the inkstitch lettering and create a text and then go to your object panel then you can see how many objects one letter has
Thanks Gus! This really helped me out. You're the best!

Thanks for video
Thanks!
Can this be done with getting regular font letters to satin stitch ?
