Pewag security chain, or grade 120 square link chain, can be bought for $10/$20 per foot and would probably just dent big cutters and take about 5-10 minutes with a good angle grinder. As someone who lives in a low-crime area, I'm getting a 5/16" 3' grade 70 chain, which is snippable, but it's also going to be the toughest "security" chain within a mile radius for my area and only $3.34 a foot at the local home depot.(most people don't even use bike locks). So I'm good.
Hi Robert, Yes, you can certainly use G120 chain, but the key is to use a G120 binder that matches the working load limit of the chain.
