Great video. I have not played this game but do own the most recent Decision Games version. I need to play it either solo or 2 player. Looks like a ~ 3 hour or so game. If I remember correctly, the Decision Game comes with different scenarios that shortens the time period / number of turns.
reprinted by Decision games a few years back: a "strait reprint" of the SPI boxed edition with larger counters/hexagons. This is one of my favorites (designed) 3 player historical games.
I had a lifetime sub to S&T :( Trouble is I was in the USAF and single so every time I got transferred overseas I had a 225 lb. shipping limitation. So it was always what to keep!

When I gave up gaming in the early 90s, I purged everything except for one box of 12 games. This is one of the ones I kept.
