I met an Italian woman named, Marcella, from Rome, years ago. This is really amazing - I love the story of Bruno and his incredible conversion. I bought the English version of ‘Tre Fontaines’ and I must say, I frowned a bit, reading about the third secret of Fatima, which the author casually mentions was later revealed in 2000; I thought - how can this author possibly think that was the whole message? It is a strange dream sequence which bears no relevance to the shooting of PJP II, and hardly explosive enough to warrant the Vatican keeping it from the public for decades. This account of its being a clearly edited version makes so much sense.

Fantastic video! You nailed it. I'm going to have to listen to this again and come back later to comment in more detail, after skimming again through my own copies. One of the big things I noticed that irked me in comparing the two is that they cut out the author's epilogue at the end, which explicitly states that the messages have a distinctly pre-Vatican II view, with the implication that they are critical of the council. I think leaving that part out was deliberate, just as it was deliberate to insert commentaries by recent Cardinals at the end of the book that did not appear in the original Italian. I'm looking right now at page 110 in the fake English version, first paragraph, where the Cardinal being quoted talks about how "the title which the Mother of the Lord is remembered and venerated here appears to have an extraordinary actuality, and we may even say, a 'modern' relevance." Then he goes on to propagandize the documents of Vatican II, specifically Dei Verbum. "One of the five fundamental dogmatic constitutions of the II Vatican Council, Dei Verbum...". The book chooses to end with content that did not appear in the original and that gives a distinctly pro-Vatican II spin and an endorsement of modernity, which is just Modernism by another word. Insertions like that put a really bad taste in people's mouths and turned off another TH-camr from spending much time on this apparition. That particular insertion was incredibly egregious because the fraudsters who came up with this English version then wrote a nine-day novena to Our Lady of Revelation, which they have on their website - and they use that entire fraudulent passage, complete with its Vatican 2 propaganda, as the meditation for the ninth day of the novena, even changing the quotation about the allegedly "modern" apparition in a worse way, to the point of being almost heretical and blasphemous: "There is an extraordinary relevance, or we could say, "modernity" of the title to which the mother of the Lord is venerated and remembered here." I found that particularly horrifying because I was handed that novena at the National Saint Padre Pio shrine in Barto, Pennsylvania, where one of half a dozen statues of Our Lady of Revelation in the world resides and is venerated, along with soil from the grotto in front of her. A few years ago they had an hour-long presentation on the apparition on its anniversary, and they passed out that novena to everyone who attended. So it does get around and does have an effect - the propaganda that was inserted into the book and became the ninth day of the novena does influence people.

Yep. It's an incredibly poorly done, poorly translated, watered-down, highly expurgated version that was published in a suspicious location, by a suspicious publisher (Lumen Cordum). In fact, the English version published in 2019 is so poorly translated that it reads almost like something that came out of Babel Fish. Even if one isn't comparing it to the Italian, the English version gives the impression that they deliberately wanted it to fail. It's extremely difficult to read because the grammar and the translation are so poor. I genuinely think they wanted people to look at what an unreadable piece of crap that English version was and dismiss the entire apparition, just shrug it off. It really looks like deliberate sabotage, not any honest effort by anyone. If someone was making an honest effort in 2019, instead of the version they came up with, they could have simply copied and pasted the Italian PDF and run it through a translating program, which would result in a perfectly usable, readable English version.

My journey is abnormal to many as I actually discovered Orthodoxy long before I discovered traditional Catholicism. Many tend to be ethnic social clubs. -you won’t escape liberalism in Orthodoxy (ex: St Simeon Orthodox Church in Las Vegas allowed a Bernie rally in their ballroom that they rent out, also Bishop Elpidophoros offering a prayer at the democratic national convention, and not to mention the push for female deacons. -The power of the rosary, the message of Fatima, and the miracles and saints that have been in the Catholic Church since the schism.

Tre Fontane and Il Veggente are two different books, not two different translations of the same book. Tre Fontane tells the story of the apparition at the Three Fountains, linking it with other revelations to Italian mystic Luigina Sinapi 10 years before. Il Veggente is an account of the apparition of the three fountains from Bruno Cornacchiola's personal diary and it includes Bruno's mystical experiences, visions and prophecies he received until his death in 2001.

How strange that the English version states that Bruno conversed with the spirit of Sister Lúcia of Fatima. Says a lot about the suspicion about the imposter Lúcia, who at the time was still alive. How can he communicate with Lúcia's spirit, if she was supposedly still alive. Also you notice the Bruno addressed in his writing " Pope John Paul Il " as he wasn't yet dead nor canonized, yet the English translation called him saint which didn't happen in Bruno 's lifetime.

A number of saints are reported to have bilocated, most famously St. Padre Pio. The diary's note about the spirit of Sr. Lucy may simply be referring to that phenomenon. As for St. John Paul II, that's a minor translation choice. Above, I said that St. Alphonsus Liguori visited the pope. Of course, Liguori wasn't a saint yet.

Not so with Fatima, Lourdes, Guadalupe. In these appearances, Our Lady does not speak much, appears few times, and goes directly to the point. 5 - And then there is the message. Basically it says that there will be a chastisement, that it will be very soon, and that before it happens all people will be shown the ugliness of their sins and given a chance to repent. This is just like the devil would like. People who struggle against a vice that is difficult to conquer will not feel a sense of urgency to change since they believe they will be given the grace to see how ugly these sins are, and will acquire a distaste for them. Many of these believers in the "illumination of conscience" may end up dying without having overcome (with the help of God) their vice, and so will be eternally lost.

He misspoke. It was "faith, morality, OR charity.". If an order violates any one of those three, we are not to obey. And that has always been the true teaching of the Catholic Church, not blind obedience. That isn't Catholic. Aquinas lays out the three conditions under which we do not have to obey or should not obey. Violations of those are one of them. Other conditions include the total optionality of obeying someone who has no authority over one, who is outside one's direct chain of command - for instance, a priest does not have to obey a bishop who is not his own, and a Dominican cannot order a Franciscan to do squat. The areas of one's life that superiors have authority over are also limited. They could not, for instance, dictate what make, model, and color vehicle a person chooses to buy. So far as recognize and resist, Steve might have a different take on that, but to me it is obvious how the apparition supports that. There is so much major heresy in the documents of Vatican II (denial of Christ the King's sovereignty over nations, religious freedom, collegiality, etc) and so much against the true faith that I absolutely will not participate in the false worship of Vatican II. Sure does. In the original, authentic Italian version published in 2016, the two-page postscript/review/summary opinion/endorsement of the book at the end was written by Cardinal Jose Saraiva Martins on Dec. 8, 2015. He was at that time the Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints. As such, he would be extremely knowledgeable and experienced in evaluating apparitions and claims of the miraculous. The false English translation has no official endorsement from anybody - no clergyman put their name on that garbage. And the fraudsters who created it decided to leave out the Cardinal's postscript and endorsement from the original Italian version, presumably because their English version is so extremely different that they would not dare to claim that the Cardinal put his seal of approval on their version. The two versions are that different that they cannot even be considered the same book. IMO, the original author's name should not even appear upon the English version, because it's in no way, shape or form a translation of the original Italian. More like an extremely watered-down retelling that cuts out 75% of the content, rearranges the rest of it, and adds content that never even appeared in the original.
And, btw, it does to point out that the original Italian book was written by one of the leading journalists in Italy, who was a former editor for L'Osservatore Romano, the Vatican's newspaper. He is as credible as possible, and he created the book about the apparition after spending years of studying Bruno's notes and diaries.

Should we believe this Bruno fellow? Trust him? Why? On what basis? And for a false apparition, Medjgorje has produced an awful lot of conversions and vocations.
There are other channels that tell the events of Bruno's life more thoroughly. I think Sensus Fidelis and Marian News have videos. This video was more about the translations. So if this is your first time hearing about him or Our Lady of Revelation or Tre Fontaine, then I'd ask the same question as you: who is this guy? He's someone a movie should be made about, and I don't want to spoil any of it.
The false apparition of Medjugorje has produced no conversions or vocations. *The pilgrimage site has.*. And they're mostly ultra flaky and questionably Catholic, btw, usually outright heretical charismatic types. Wherever two are gathered together in God's name, He is among them, so of course He blesses the pilgrims for coming and attending Mass and Confession and the Rosary and the like. It's as though you don't even read the quotes you make. The quote at 17:52 did not say there is no salvation outside the physical boundary of the church, it says, "there is no salvation WITHOUT THE CHURCH and outside of it, it is DIFFICULT to live and accept God..." Note that it says "without the church" which is what the church teaches and has always taught - those outside the physical boundaries of the church can still be saved and their salvation will be through the Church. Also, notice that the quote did not say outside the church it is impossible, it says, "outside of it, it is DIFFICULT to live and accept God..." the emphasis on difficult not impossible. It reminds of scripture where Jesus says, "it will be easier for a Camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven." And when the disciples were taken aback. He said, "with men this is impossible but with God, all things are possible". Salvation is the work of God, if you believe that someone who ignorantly (due to no fault of theirs) is not Catholic cannot be saved, then I fear for you. For you doubt the power and mercy of God.
You're professing the Modernist, heretical reinterpretation of the defined dogma of Extra Ecclesia Nulls Salus - Outside the Church there is No Salvation. The Church has always taught that it is technically possible but an *extreme exception* for someone outside the Church to be saved (over the age of reason), and even then, it is only a result of grace that flows through the Church. Modernists like yourself would have one believe that it's common and normal for people to be saved outside the Church and that there are other means of salvation - but that's just flat out wrong and the opposite of the Church's true teaching. It's a hard teaching, but you need to come to grips with it and learn to accept that the vast majority of the world goes to Hell. While the fact that the majority goes is not explicitly taught, that is the "mind of the Church" and the teaching of all the saints. It's also the logical conclusion. In fact, the Church also teaches that even the majority of Catholics go to hell. As Our Lord Himself said, few find the way of salvation. And notice that He said "the way." One way - Him. And you should not nitpick and harp on several quotes out of context of the larger work on OL of Revelation - while Steve did not make a particular point of this, one of the dominant themes of the apparition is the dogma that Outside the Church There is No Salvation. Our Lady (and Our Lord) return to that theme again and again, even stronger than in the quotes that Steve picked out. The reason she does this is because she is countering the growing heresies of Vatican 2 and the new Modernist church, so many of which stem from denying the dogma that outside the Church there is no salvation. Steve is absolutely interpreting those quotes accurately in the larger context of the apparition. One of the huge related themes of the book is that people are saved in these times by anchoring themselves to the "three white points", the Eucharist, Our Lady, and the Pope - all within the Church. But apart from references to these three white points, there are many, many other instances when Our Lady directly addresses the need to join the Catholic Church and be part of the one sheepfold. Our Lord Himself explicitly says that salvation is for those who accept and live His sacraments, too. I could go on. There are so many examples. You need to study the traditional faith more and come to grips with it. This apparition is definitely meant for people like yourself, as its pleading with people to reject their errors.
Btw, the loophole of "invincible ignorance" applies to just about nobody in this day and age, after the promulgation of the Gospel throughout the whole world. The vast majority of the world are culpably ignorant. As a theologian Fr. Chad Ripperger addresses this subject well. You may also want to look into the traditional Catholic understanding of Predestination - yes, we believe in Predestination - which is nothing like the Calvinist conception of it. Understanding predestination should go a long way towards your understanding why most of the world goes to Hell and only Catholics are saved, with rare exceptions.

I met an Italian woman named, Marcella, from Rome, years ago. She gifted me a portrait of Our Lady of Revelation, that, she painted from having been witness to one of the subsequent apparitions in the 1980's by the Blessed Mother in Rome, at Tre Fontane. This is really amazing - I love the story of Bruno and his incredible conversion. I bought the English version of ‘Tre Fontaines’ and I must say, I frowned a bit, reading about the third secret of Fatima, which the author casually mentions was later revealed in 2000; I thought - how can this author possibly think that was the whole message? It is a strange dream sequence which bears no relevance to the shooting of PJP II, and hardly explosive enough to warrant the Vatican keeping it from the public for decades. This account of its being a clearly edited version makes so much sense.

One of the big things I noticed that irked me in comparing the two is that they cut out the author's epilogue at the end, which explicitly states that the messages have a distinctly pre-Vatican II view, with the implication that they are critical of the council. I think leaving that part out was deliberate, just as it was deliberate to insert commentaries by recent Cardinals at the end of the book that did not appear in the original Italian. I'm looking right now at page 110 in the fake English version, first paragraph, where the Cardinal being quoted talks about how "the title which the Mother of the Lord is remembered and venerated here appears to have an extraordinary actuality, and we may even say, a 'modern' relevance." Then he goes on to propagandize the documents of Vatican II, specifically Dei Verbum. "One of the five fundamental dogmatic constitutions of the II Vatican Council, Dei Verbum...". The book chooses to end with content that did not appear in the original and that gives a distinctly pro-Vatican II spin and an endorsement of modernity, which is just Modernism by another word.
Insertions like that put a really bad taste in people's mouths and turned off another TH-camr from spending much time on this apparition.
That particular insertion was incredibly egregious because the fraudsters who came up with this English version then wrote a nine-day novena to Our Lady of Revelation, which they have on their website - and they use that entire fraudulent passage, complete with its Vatican 2 propaganda, as the meditation for the ninth day of the novena, even changing the quotation about the allegedly "modern" apparition in a worse way, to the point of being almost heretical and blasphemous: "There is an extraordinary relevance, or we could say, "modernity" of the title to which the mother of the Lord is venerated and remembered here."
I found that particularly horrifying because I was handed that novena at the National Saint Padre Pio shrine in Barto, Pennsylvania, where one of half a dozen statues of Our Lady of Revelation in the world resides and is venerated, along with soil from the grotto in front of her. A few years ago they had an hour-long presentation on the apparition on its anniversary, and they passed out that novena to everyone who attended. So it does get around and does have an effect - the propaganda that was inserted into the book and became the ninth day of the novena does influence people.

Yep. It's an incredibly poorly done, poorly translated, watered-down, highly expurgated version that was published in a suspicious location, by a suspicious publisher (Lumen Cordum). In fact, the English version published in 2019 is so poorly translated that it reads almost like something that came out of Babel Fish.
Even if one isn't comparing it to the Italian, the English version gives the impression that they deliberately wanted it to fail. It's extremely difficult to read because the grammar and the translation are so poor. I genuinely think they wanted people to look at what an unreadable piece of crap that English version was and dismiss the entire apparition, just shrug it off.
It really looks like deliberate sabotage, not any honest effort by anyone. If someone was making an honest effort in 2019, instead of the version they came up with, they could have simply copied and pasted the Italian PDF and run it through a translating program, which would result in a perfectly usable, readable English version.

My journey is abnormal to many as I actually discovered Orthodoxy long before I discovered traditional Catholicism. I came within inches of converting to Orthodoxy but here are a few reasons why I didn’t:
- the fighting between the patriarchates which has prevented them from gathering for a council. That is the major consequence of not having the papacy
-the failure to break the ethnic barrier and evangelize the world like Catholicism has done. From my experience there are only a handful of orthodox churches that are actually geared towards receiving converts. Many tend to be ethnic social clubs.
-you won’t escape liberalism in Orthodoxy (ex: St Simeon Orthodox Church in Las Vegas allowed a Bernie rally in their ballroom that they rent out, also Bishop Elpidophoros offering a prayer at the democratic national convention, and not to mention the push for female deacons.
-The power of the rosary, the message of Fatima, and the miracles and saints that have been in the Catholic Church since the schism.

I was thinking I could accept apostolic Christianity without the bishop of Rome. I realized it didn't work. But I was always shocked at how ethnic the Orthodox churches were. Literally the exact opposite of what Christ set up and told His Church to do. The Latins evangelized the world, while the Orthodox stay in their little ethnic groups.

Tre Fontane and Il Veggente are two different books, not two different translations of the same book. Tre Fontane tells the story of the apparition at the Three Fountains, linking it with other revelations to Italian mystic Luigina Sinapi 10 years before. Il Veggente is an account of the apparition of the three fountains from Bruno Cornacchiola's personal diary and it includes Bruno's mystical experiences, visions and prophecies he received until his death in 2001.

Sensus Fedelium did an amazing series about Our Lady of Revelation and Bruno’s life story. The priest is said to not want recognition. He narrates the series in such a calm yet ominous way as to make one really self examine their life thus far. If you have listened to it on TH-cam have you found discrepancies?
How strange that the English version states that Bruno conversed with the spirit of Sister Lúcia of Fatima. Says a lot about the suspicion about the imposter Lúcia, who at the time was still alive. How can he communicate with Lúcia's spirit, if she was supposedly still alive. Also you notice the Bruno addressed in his writing " Pope John Paul Il " as he wasn't yet dead nor canonized, yet the English translation called him saint which didn't happen in Bruno 's lifetime.

A number of saints are reported to have bilocated, most famously St. Padre Pio. The diary's note about the spirit of Sr. Lucy may simply be referring to that phenomenon.
As for St. John Paul II, that's a minor translation choice. Above, I said that St. Alphonsus Liguori visited the pope. Of course, Liguori wasn't a saint yet.

1 - Several predictions by Conchita did not come true. Joey Lomangino, for example, died without regaining his sight.
2 - The children were planning to commit a sin (steal apples if I am not mistaken) when the first alleged vision occurred.
3 - St Michael allegedly appeared to them, showed his teeth and said he also had beautiful teeth like they did (if true, I mean, if they really did see something, this is really weird)
4 - There were, if I am not mistaken, more than 1000 appearances of Our Lady. Not so with Fatima, Lourdes, Guadalupe. In these appearances, Our Lady does not speak much, appears few times, and goes directly to the point.
5 - And then there is the message. Basically it says that there will be a chastisement, that it will be very soon, and that before it happens all people will be shown the ugliness of their sins and given a chance to repent. This is just like the devil would like. People who struggle against a vice that is difficult to conquer will not feel a sense of urgency to change since they believe they will be given the grace to see how ugly these sins are, and will acquire a distaste for them. Many of these believers in the "illumination of conscience" may end up dying without having overcome (with the help of God) their vice, and so will be eternally lost.

He misspoke. It was "faith, morality, OR charity.". If an order violates any one of those three, we are not to obey.
And that has always been the true teaching of the Catholic Church, not blind obedience. That isn't Catholic. Aquinas lays out the three conditions under which we do not have to obey or should not obey. Violations of those are one of them. Other conditions include the total optionality of obeying someone who has no authority over one, who is outside one's direct chain of command - for instance, a priest does not have to obey a bishop who is not his own, and a Dominican cannot order a Franciscan to do squat. The areas of one's life that superiors have authority over are also limited. They could not, for instance, dictate what make, model, and color vehicle a person chooses to buy.
So far as recognize and resist, Steve might have a different take on that, but to me it is obvious how the apparition supports that. There is so much major heresy in the documents of Vatican II (denial of Christ the King's sovereignty over nations, religious freedom, collegiality, etc) and so much against the true faith that I absolutely will not participate in the false worship of Vatican II. I won't even set foot in their churches.

Sure does. In the original, authentic Italian version published in 2016, the two-page postscript/review/summary opinion/endorsement of the book at the end was written by Cardinal Jose Saraiva Martins on Dec. 8, 2015. He was at that time the Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints. As such, he would be extremely knowledgeable and experienced in evaluating apparitions and claims of the miraculous.
The false English translation has no official endorsement from anybody - no clergyman put their name on that garbage. And the fraudsters who created it decided to leave out the Cardinal's postscript and endorsement from the original Italian version, presumably because their English version is so extremely different that they would not dare to claim that the Cardinal put his seal of approval on their version. The two versions are that different that they cannot even be considered the same book.
IMO, the original author's name should not even appear upon the English version, because it's in no way, shape or form a translation of the original Italian. More like an extremely watered-down retelling that cuts out 75% of the content, rearranges the rest of it, and adds content that never even appeared in the original.
And, btw, it does to point out that the original Italian book was written by one of the leading journalists in Italy, who was a former editor for L'Osservatore Romano, the Vatican's newspaper. He is as credible as possible, and he created the book about the apparition after spending years of studying Bruno's notes and diaries.

Should we believe this Bruno fellow? Trust him? Why? On what basis? And for a false apparition, Medjgorje has produced an awful lot of conversions and vocations.

There are other channels that tell the events of Bruno's life more thoroughly. I think Sensus Fidelis and Marian News have videos. This video was more about the translations. So if this is your first time hearing about him or Our Lady of Revelation or Tre Fontaine, then I'd ask the same question as you: who is this guy? He's someone a movie should be made about, and I don't want to spoil any of it.
The false apparition of Medjugorje has produced no conversions or vocations. *The pilgrimage site has.*. And they're mostly ultra flaky and questionably Catholic, btw, usually outright heretical charismatic types.
Wherever two are gathered together in God's name, He is among them, so of course He blesses the pilgrims for coming and attending Mass and Confession and the Rosary and the like. God and Our Lady have done damage control at Medjugorje, nothing more.
And there certainly has been a tremendous amount of damage from the heresies and blasphemies of that evil, Satanic apparition. If you are even a tiny bit honest, search TH-cam for a priest's homily video on Sensus Fidelium called "Medjugorje protects the head of the serpent".

It's as though you don't even read the quotes you make. The quote at 17:52 did not say there is no salvation outside the physical boundary of the church, it says, "there is no salvation WITHOUT THE CHURCH and outside of it, it is DIFFICULT to live and accept God..." Note that it says "without the church" which is what the church teaches and has always taught - those outside the physical boundaries of the church can still be saved and their salvation will be through the Church. Also, notice that the quote did not say outside the church it is impossible, it says, "outside of it, it is DIFFICULT to live and accept God..." the emphasis on difficult not impossible. It reminds of scripture where Jesus says, "it will be easier for a Camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven." And when the disciples were taken aback. He said, "with men this is impossible but with God, all things are possible". Salvation is the work of God, if you believe that someone who ignorantly (due to no fault of theirs) is not Catholic cannot be saved, then I fear for you. For you doubt the power and mercy of God.
You're professing the Modernist, heretical reinterpretation of the defined dogma of Extra Ecclesia Nulls Salus - Outside the Church there is No Salvation. The Church has always taught that it is technically possible but an *extreme exception* for someone outside the Church to be saved (over the age of reason), and even then, it is only a result of grace that flows through the Church. Modernists like yourself would have one believe that it's common and normal for people to be saved outside the Church and that there are other means of salvation - but that's just flat out wrong and the opposite of the Church's true teaching. It's a hard teaching, but you need to come to grips with it and learn to accept that the vast majority of the world goes to Hell. While the fact that the majority goes is not explicitly taught, that is the "mind of the Church" and the teaching of all the saints. It's also the logical conclusion. In fact, the Church also teaches that even the majority of Catholics go to hell. As Our Lord Himself said, few find the way of salvation. And notice that He said "the way." One way - Him.
And you should not nitpick and harp on several quotes out of context of the larger work on OL of Revelation - while Steve did not make a particular point of this, one of the dominant themes of the apparition is the dogma that Outside the Church There is No Salvation. Our Lady (and Our Lord) return to that theme again and again, even stronger than in the quotes that Steve picked out. The reason she does this is because she is countering the growing heresies of Vatican 2 and the new Modernist church, so many of which stem from denying the dogma that outside the Church there is no salvation. Steve is absolutely interpreting those quotes accurately in the larger context of the apparition.
One of the huge related themes of the book is that people are saved in these times by anchoring themselves to the "three white points", the Eucharist, Our Lady, and the Pope - all within the Church. But apart from references to these three white points, there are many, many other instances when Our Lady directly addresses the need to join the Catholic Church and be part of the one sheepfold. Our Lord Himself explicitly says that salvation is for those who accept and live His sacraments, too. I could go on. There are so many examples.
You need to study the traditional faith more and come to grips with it. This apparition is definitely meant for people like yourself, as its pleading with people to reject their errors.
Btw, the loophole of "invincible ignorance" applies to just about nobody in this day and age, after the promulgation of the Gospel throughout the whole world. The vast majority of the world are culpably ignorant. As a theologian Fr. Chad Ripperger addresses this subject well.
You may also want to look into the traditional Catholic understanding of Predestination - yes, we believe in Predestination - which is nothing like the Calvinist conception of it. Understanding predestination should go a long way towards your understanding why most of the world goes to Hell and only Catholics are saved, with rare exceptions.
