Just a heads up: Zombies in this world aren't dead like in traditional zombie lore. The fungus takes control of a LIVING host and controls their brains seeking to spread. It actually happens in nature with many insects. So, once someone is dead, they're dead and the fungus can no longer use their body. This is why the clickers bled out in the later scene. The infected that got to Tess was actually a Stalker. You can almost think of the infected as having stages. And gang, don't forget that in the beginning the workers infected were working at a flower and grain factory. And in the first episode, we see the old lady eating biscuits and our main characters avoided anything that had flour So outside of getting bit, it seems the other way people were getting infected was with the food
The woman in indonesia is correct. There are no medicines or vaccines. Fungal diseases are much harder to treat than bacterial infections because fungi, like humans, are made of eukaryotic cells and share the same basic cell structures. So getting a treatment that targets the fungus and not the humans is almost impossible
Idk about yall, but I got ptsd seeing the clicker that close to Joel🤣🤣🤣🤣 in the game that's game over😭😭😭💀💀💀 but I love the adaption so much. Everything is literally like the game
My understanding for the "kiss" is most likely the infected know she is infected thats why it didn't attack her, I believe it was trying to "form a connection" with the strands in the mouth so that stuff was most likely going all the way into her throat to make her into a new host.
Exactly my thought at first, but I read in an interview with the creators that they moved slowly toward Tess bc she wasn’t agressively defending herself, so there wasnt any point for the infected to be agressive as well. Sum like the fungus has just a goal of spreading, so as long as you are « peaceful », the infected will act « peacefully », so instead of eating you they’ll just try to spread it by.. kissing you ig?
@@adicusdeathreaper Pretty much. That and also efficiency. The main goal of the infected is to spread the infection and add more to the hive mind. If you watch the first episode again, the old lady in the beginning isn’t eating the other woman or biting her when Sarah comes in. Her mouth is actually on the woman’s ear. The tendrils are going in through the ear to reach the brain We also saw that chart that explains that leg bites take the longest to take hold, the arms are a bit quicker, and neck/head is the quickest. That’s because the fungus has to travel through the body to reach the brain. The actual quickest way to spread the infection is through the face. Letting the tendrils enter the mouth ears or even nose would be way faster than a bite somewhere else So if the victim isn’t fighting, there’s no need to bite and wait for it to work up to the brain.
4 stages of infected. The runners, when people recently turned. The stalkers, when they’re infected for a while and ambush victims, mostly in the dark. The clickers, what we saw in this episode. The thing with fungi... is that it's really hard to kill 100% even with string chemicals. In agriculture, there are fungi that are parasitic to some plants. They invade the roots and take the nutrients from the plants. The are very powerful chemicals that can be used to try to "nuke" the fungus, but once you find it, your best option is to rotate to a crop that is not affected by that fungus. The only other effective way is to use another fungus, a symbiotic fungus that benefits the plant and inoculate the plants with it. Since there is already a fungus "installed" in the plant, any other fungus that tries to get in is pretty much killed by the current one. My theory with Ellie has always been that she might have been infected by a variant of the fungus that evolved to be symbiotic and not parasitic... in any case, you wouldn't be able to make a cure out of it. At most, you could find a way to infect others with the symbiotic fungus.
@@MrShloker Did you not see the fungus growing out of it's head? Runners don't have visible head fungus and it wasn't a Clicker, it was definitely a Stalker.
So, thru wheat and grain the fungus spread. Sarah wanted to make Joel pancakes but couldn't because they were out. The Alders were eating biscuit and offer Joel but refused, Joel was to buy a cake and didn't 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
And Sarah turned down the raisin cookies. And Jakarta has the largest flour factory in the world, supplying a majority of flour and grain to the world.
They are not zombies so they wouldn’t just be chillin under the water. The infected are still alive that’s what’s so awful about it, there’s still people in there but they are no longer in control of their bodies. You don’t need a “head shot” to kill the infected, anyway you could kill a human can kill them. Clickers and older infected are harder to kill because the fungus has grown so much more on them and hardened, forming a sort of armor
In the game, it's an instakill when a Clicker gets to you. Fistfighting it does not work. You gonna need a couple of bullets to take a single one down. Imagine four of them in one place.
Just throwing it out there, but my guess they made that part with Tess getting kissed by the infected "intimate", cause even Joel didn't say anything or show any intimacy before he left, not a hug or a blow of a kiss if he didnt want to touch her. Since she was infected already slowly getting into the hive mind, she probably wanted a kiss from Joel before she died but couldnt. Plus thats the fastest way to spread as well. I personally saw it in that symbolism.

The reason why that infected kissed her was because those are stalkers they’re less aggressive but are smarter
That didn’t look like a stalker it looked like a regular infected
@@MrShloker Did you not see the fungus growing out of it's head?
Runners don't have visible head fungus and it wasn't a Clicker, it was definitely a Stalker.
@@DizRupTnz lol I almost completely forgot about the stalkers 😅
16:52 Rob just be choosing violence on Evan
Pat. You don’t need to talk every 3 seconds 😂
Ngl sometimes Patric talks a lot during the scenes and I’m just hoping it doesn’t get redundant
He talks way too much especially during the quiet scenes
So, thru wheat and grain the fungus spread. Sarah wanted to make Joel pancakes but couldn't because they were out. The Alders were eating biscuit and offer Joel but refused, Joel was to buy a cake and didn't 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
And Sarah turned down the raisin cookies. And Jakarta has the largest flour factory in the world, supplying a majority of flour and grain to the world.
They knocked it out of the park with the clickers, damn good show, kind of want to play the game again.
Rob seem irritated to be there 😂
This was another great episode.
when isnt he irritated lol
@@Bonney95 I've seen some Black Pink reactions. He's not always irritated 😂
@@Bonney95 When he falls asleep
Thai the language too me is chilling horror wise. When I first saw this I had to turn on all the lights. “Coming soon” the scariest movie ever
It took me awhile to realize that the clicking sound was the way they echo locate, like bats or even dolphins.
Heads up, they’re infected meaning they’re still alive. Once they die, they die. There’s no zombie reanimation.
Or a shiv
*THE CLICKERS WERE PERFECT JUST LIKE IN THE GAME!!!*
Bombing the city was what they did in The Walking Dead so in this show and game it kind of makes sense.
Joel plays Oberyn Martell in GOT who got his head smashed in by Cersei’s giant.
Robby lookin pressed for no reason 🤣
I would hate to watch A Quiet Place with the dude in the middle. Anything, actually.
Dude sucks
Evan "I cannot not hear the mandalorian"
Same bro lol 😂
They don’t come back from the dead 😂 they never die the fungus activates the human and the runners are actually conscious all it all but can’t do shit cause the fungus
18:45 Patric is INFECTED!
They used the original voice actor/actress for the clickers!!! 18:20
Are you guys going to post your reaction to Episodes 3?
This is the funniest reaction to the clickers I've seen so far 😂😂😂😂
What was with rob?😂😂😂
Wellz clicker impersonation was spot on 😂😂😂
The guy in the middle needs to understand that he doesn't need to comment on every freakin' dialogue.
Fr like damn
It’s his reaction lol. That’s why we’re here in the first place, to watch their reactions.
shut up
3:58 made uncomfortable eye contact with jerry for mad long XD
I am loving Pat's reactions to this series.
*W EP* love all the bonus scenes they're adding especially the opening scenes
I'm gonna guess their Episode 3 reaction was really homophobic and they're not posting it or need a lot of editing.
I’m assuming the same thing, I’m hoping that’s not the case though. I would hate for them to continue the stereotype of black men being homophobic
@@miquonk That’s not a stereotype. Stereotype would imply that black men being homophobic is not true when it is. Now are all black men homophobic? Of course not, but to call it a “stereotype” is incorrect.
@@brandon-d2x the word "homophobic" has no meaning anymore.
My cousin is gay but is shamed for being homophobic because he's also a Christian.

They’re never gonna upload it lmaoo
Why does Rob only talk about Evan 😭
When y'all gonna wise up and kick out Rob lol
Aye keep up with the content stuff is the best to watch

Every time I hear someone say what they would do in a zombie situation I just laugh cuz NO YOU DON’T. If we’re living in a world where ZOMBIES are running around, I’m out.
episode 3?
Was basically all filler why tf u want it?
@@mikeross6336 why tf you under every comment?
notice how in the first ep they had no pancake mix, the neighbors offered biscuits, sarah declined the raisen cookies, and joel forgot the cake
I never played the game, just like never having read The Walking Dead comics both series' were new to me and just like TWD, I'm having so much fun watching this amazing show.
Oh and hey, I guess from what I've heard on another reaction, they used the same voice actors for the clickers in the show as they did in the game.
This and Chainsaw Man competing for worst kiss. Denji's first and Tess' last.
Smh why yall cut the discussion
People who would survive in this kind of apocalypse will be the ones who live in very rural areas and a cold climate.
I knew Tess was gone when they entered that lobby 😥
6:05 Any time you see Yellow - that means sickness. Loving the color codes in this show.
Idk why they chose to do this since it wasn’t even in the game but I think the thing with Tess kissing the infected was because she was already starting to turn so they saw her as partially one of them already… I think. Still weird af
They are going to change certain things but at the same time stay true to the source material. I don’t really mind them changing minor things because it kinda feels like a new experience for me even though I know the outline of the main story.
Fungus's original behavior is always hivemind bro, it based on true story
According to the podcast is its to show the show’s version of spreading the fungus/how it reproduces. If u dont resist theyll be less violent
The producers didn’t think having FEDRA chase them this far made sense. And honestly I agree, they would just hope they die on the journey or hang them when they come back.
@@revelationz4403 yea I like the small changes too but they didn’t have to make the scene so intimate like damn
Where episode 3 reaction at?
They didnt wanna react to it cause theres men kissing lol
@@aniqnxbil buddy come out of the closet already.... You in these comments crying cause they haven't posted a reaction to an episode. @@mikeross6336 aww i know your scared of men kissing its okay buddy, no one will make fun of you 🤭🤭
If you guys haven't seen it there is the official podcast by the game developers and the showrunner and what they wanted to do with the kissing scene was make it intimate and romantic because it's already disgusting grotesque and horrifying enough so by shooting it as if it was a love scene with the infected gently approaching her it makes it even more disturbing because she doesn't run, there's no reason for the infected to chase her down and rip to pieces because she stood still it did not see her as a threat
One of the first coments I like u guys reactions keep it up 💯🔥💯🔥
It's not zombies because fungus needs the host to be alive. Fungus cannot infect dead people
OMFG the guy in the middle talks SO MUCH... I was looking for reactions not freaking director's commetary.
Thoes monster are so scary
I'm glad y'all are loving the show. But I gotta ask, how come y'all aren't reacting to the NFL like last year?
