I don't think so, the narrative presented in this video seems inaccurate and inconsistent with this channel's past reporting. The aggregate plant was initially surrounded by a Ukrainian counter-attack and they were stranded for a month, but then the ruzzians retook the area to the west and relieved the troops that had been surrounded. That month of siege is when all the stuff with drone resupply happened. Today's report leaves out the middle part (that they previously reported), and represents the recent eventual capture as the end of the siege. More likely they simply withdrew from the plant when the decision to withdraw from the area to the NW was made, apparently Sept. 17th based on liveuamap
They probably all had TBIs within the first few weeks of the siege. It's very difficult processing anything beyond survival instincts in conditions like that.
Seems unlikely, the last few weeks, the aggregate plant was repeatedly subjected to friendly fire incidents reported as of September 22, 2024. I can't write here what attacks were made by russian troops on their own troops in the aggregate plant without being censored so you'll have to google it. I used, "aggregate plant ukraine captured september" And then skip anything published back in June or July.

Half the country is now willing to admit out loud that they want their troops out of Ukraine, which should be alarming to the oligarchy, since admitting that to the wrong people could result in prison. In addition to that, 79% oppose mobilization of any form, on top of Russian contract recruitment slowing down. Putin can state he wants the second biggest standing army in the world, but right now his ability to do so has been directly called into question.
After this war is over one way or another, maps will have to be updated because many towns and villages no longer exist. Can you imagine anyone moving back into Vovchansk trying to rebuild it? It is really hard to call it liberation as there really is nothing left. It will take decades just to clear unexploded ordinance and to clear rubble.

It is worth pointing out that those Russians in Vovchansk could have safely surrendered at any time. Before any Russian trolls start accusing Ukraine of anything, that is the key to answering any criticism. They would all be alive, well fed and looked after for trading back to Russia, had they been sensible, or not lied to by their, “superior,” officers about what Ukrainians do to POW’s.
In the old days of the USSR, each unit would have a political officer. A commissariat. His job among others, was to shoot anyone with any thoughts of surrender. There is the equivalent today in any of the Orc officers. How would you expect anyone to surrender? Certainly small groups separated could & have. The commissariat is one of the few that carry ammunition all the time.

It’s impossible to know, unless investigations take place, but we can agree that this was a pointless, senseless loss of lives. So how do we knownthose soldiers died of starvation and lack of supplies? The plant was a site of back and forth fighting for weeks. How do we know the dead weren't just left behind when Russian troops pulled out? Holding the area lost its use when Ukriane stopped sending tons of reenforcements across the bridge to retake the plant. The main reason for Russia to take the plant was to FORCE Ukrainian counterattacks and deployment of reserves to grind down numbers and it was successful in that regard. As for Mariapool don't fool yourselves the "heroic" Azov batallion PREVENTED civilians from fleeing the city and used ALL structures to fight from, meaning they're fair game to bomb. The city was full of ethnic Russians so Azov didn't give a damn about civilian casualties considering their neo-nazi stance on the matter.

Half the country is now willing to admit out loud that they want their troops out of Ukraine, which should be alarming to the oligarchy, since admitting that to the wrong people could result in prison.
In addition to that, 79% oppose mobilization of any form, on top of Russian contract recruitment slowing down. Putin can state he wants the second biggest standing army in the world, but right now his ability to do so has been directly called into question.

After this war is over one way or another, maps will have to be updated because many towns and villages no longer exist. Can you imagine anyone moving back into Vovchansk trying to rebuild it? It is really hard to call it liberation as there really is nothing left. It will take decades just to clear unexploded ordinance and to clear rubble.
Its sad ppl fighting over piles of rubble. Go home Russia.

Don't stop after liberating Vovchansk, but continue on into Russia!
It is worth pointing out that those Russians in Vovchansk could have safely surrendered at any time. Before any Russian trolls start accusing Ukraine of anything, that is the key to answering any criticism. They would all be alive, well fed and looked after for trading back to Russia, had they been sensible, or not lied to by their, “superior,” officers about what Ukrainians do to POW’s.
In the old days of the USSR, each unit would have a political officer. A commissariat. His job among others, was to shoot anyone with any thoughts of surrender. There is the equivalent today in any of the Orc officers. How would you expect anyone to surrender? Certainly small groups separated could & have. The commissariat is one of the few that carry ammunition all the time.
@@hardtackbeans9790 : I would have thought they would just frag the commissariat in a situation like this particular one? Usually, people will do pretty much anything to survive, including commissariats. However, you do raise a good point.
Though I personally suspect it’s more likely they just thought they would be treated far worse than they treat their own prisoners and had lies drummed into them. Having possibly taken part in war crimes themselves, certainly likely to have witnessed their commission, they just believed they were going to get what they dish out or worse.
Since they were getting drops from drones, at least for a while, it is also possible that the threats were coming from a higher source, behind the lines? “Surrender and we’ll bomb the whole area.” That sort of thing?
It’s impossible to know, unless investigations take place, but we can agree that this was a pointless, senseless loss of lives. As much for Ukraine, who always appreciate contributions to what they call their, “hostage fund.”

So how do we knownthose soldiers died of starvation and lack of supplies? The plant was a site of back and forth fighting for weeks. How do we know the dead weren't just left behind when Russian troops pulled out? Holding the area lost its use when Ukriane stopped sending tons of reenforcements across the bridge to retake the plant. The main reason for Russia to take the plant was to FORCE Ukrainian counterattacks and deployment of reserves to grind down numbers and it was successful in that regard. As for Mariapool don't fool yourselves the "heroic" Azov batallion PREVENTED civilians from fleeing the city and used ALL structures to fight from, meaning they're fair game to bomb. The city was full of ethnic Russians so Azov didn't give a damn about civilian casualties considering their neo-nazi stance on the matter.
