I caught a 12 13 15 shadow dratini yesterday and evolved it. Seems very strong but squishy as you said. It happened to be xxl as well. I know not the best ivs for great league but should be pretty good for master league I would think
Tried this team with Azu in the middle instead of Licki. I think Licki would be a better fit as it provides additional coverage against the Meta overall compared to Azu which gets hardwalled against Grass and Lanturn. Good team
Just have the right mons so you can just tank a BB no problem. For example in UL running Jellicent, Giratina, Lanturn, Mandibuzz etc. They can't care about a BB.
This team worked so good for me. Gained 400+ points from 2000 to 2396. I used regular dragonite which worked fine. Lantern lures out the counter users and mud boys and Registeel shines!! ❤

I use Davinci Resolve to edit but that's not what allows me to pause the battles. That's just cause I record using OBS in a premade layout in which I import the MP4 of the string of battles as one of the sources
I’m currently running Gligar, Umbreon and Steelix in the great league. I have won a lot but I don’t win nearly enough to ever get past ace. Should I use a different team? If so, which mons would you suggest?
@@ThoTechtical Okay, I'll try those out. Thank you! This team looks amazing. I've run a similar team with S.Dragonite/registeel/Gfisk before but the bulky neutral safe swap style is an interesting take on the core.
So this is easier to do at higher elo, as the pool of opponents is smallsr there you can guage the meta shifts and add pokemon to your team accordingly. If you're not high elo the player pool is much too large to effectively counter the meta. As shifts are more random. So there I'd recommend just sticking with a team you know you can make work.
Finally I found a team that is working for me, lost 200 ELO this weekend🙂 My crypto Dragonite still has frustration but I'm always baiting for the super power 🙂

Honestly not really. As you could see I'm shielding every single charge move so the defensive stats rarely come into play 😅🤣

Lanturn is the way then. Grasses will be harder though

My lickitung is nowhere near GL level (~1380 cp atm). Would greedent (Tackle/Body Slam/Trailblaze) work instead?
Greedent is not good enough versus medicham, so I don't think it'd would work sadly. Umbreon or (spark) Lanturn is what I'd recommend as replacement

Just investigate what your opponents put up and adjust to that.

what are your dragonite iv's
You always want the most defensive Shadow Dragonite. Attack weighted Shadow Dragonites become very very glassy and die to a lot of things too easily.
