Hello, I need your help. At the 4:10 minute mark of this video you mentioned the bolt (blanken bolt 8mm???). Is this correct and where would I get 2. I took the stock mirrors off my 2022 Ducati Monster but now the fluid containers are not secure. What’s the name of the 2 bolts, what size do I need and where can I get them? Thanks. Tim
Nice video, how do to adjust the left handle bar to reduce the gap between the handle bar and the mirror. If you look at your video, there is one part where the metal insert comes out from the handle bar about 1 inch, but when you finally install the left mirror, the gap is gone? I'm dealing with this right now, the right mirror looks fine but the left one has this 1 inch gap. Any suggestions?
I think i know what you mean. I just slid my left hand handlebar grip across to close the gap. it does every now and then slowly work its way back but its just a simple slide across to make it flush.

Ha sorry i never even noticed. No i never cut it off, I've just slid the handle bar grip closer to the end of the bars. I totally agree with you. I never really noticed it with the OEM bar end weights on since they were silver but when i put the new mirrors on i stood out really badly. So for now I've just slid the grip over so it sits flush. I do plan to change the grips in the future so hopefully the new ones will also help make it look neater. Cheers for watching 😃
I put the 57 on my bike since I liked the smaller size. Personally I think the 80mm would have been too big but I have had people say they prefer the bigger mirror for viewing behind them. Hope this helps 🤙🏼

Everything I used in the video I got from www.moorespeedracing.co.uk. I had to buy the adaptors (part name: LP200B) for the monster. I had a look in the fitting instructions for you. It’s badly printed 🧐but it does look like it says it’s a M8 bolt. I hope that helps. If I can find any online instructions I will send them your way. I couldn’t find the instructions sorry but yeah the adapters. So to mounts the mirrors onto the bike you would need to purchase adapters that fit the bike. So the screws and the part that is used to hold the mirrors on are the separate adapters. The adapter part number is that LP200B from Rizoma. That adapter is the part that has the screw i used. I hope that helps.
I was at nec bike show last month and at the Ducati stand and l asked them about space between clutch handle bar grip and the clutch reservoir the said you can get a spacer from Ducati to stop grip moving over . Do you find it more difficult filtering with the mirrors sticking out like that
Oh I didn’t know you could get a spacer. I will have to look into that. The grip does have a tendency to slide over. Cheers for that. In regard to filtering. Not really. It does obvious make it slightly wider but the mirrors are mega easy to fold down if need be. Plus I have the mirrors angled down slightly and I find that helps them to stay out the way of car mirrors. I’ve only ever had to fold them in once or twice since fitting them. 🤙🏼
To don’t necessarily fold in flush but you can fold them up or down so they don’t stick out. So if your filtering you can just move them in. Hope this helps and thank for watching the video. 🤙🏼

Hi, I am looking for new mirrors on my Vitpilen and I want some small ones as its the 401 version. I find inversed mirrors (under the handlebar) and directed towards the tank looks nicer. It looks like these ones can rotate to 380° but even with the small demo at 8:00 I am not sure they can rotate all the way. So, one simple question : can they rotate 380° arround the axle which is perpendicular to the handlebar? Thank you :-)
Hey first of all thank you for watching the video. So the mirrors you can have in almost any orientation. I did originally put them on facing down but later decided that up was easier and clearer to see behind me. You can rotate the mirror 360° at both the end of the bar section and also the mirrors 90° arm section. Plus the mirror itself can rotate round and be angles as well. I’m sure you would be able to get it into what ever position you liked. Cheers again and safe riding. 🤙🏼

I couldn’t tell you sorry but the adapter kit that I needed to buy to attach the mirrors comes with both a small and a large adapter. I can’t say for certain but I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them did fit. 🤙🏼 hope that helps. Cheers for watching 👏🏼
Apologies for the late reply. To answer your question. The visibility is great because the mirrors are convex so you have a good field of view plus because the mirrors are out at the bar ends then you have nothing blocking your view like elbows or anything. I 100% prefer them over the OEM mirrors. I can’t say I notice any vibration. The bike I have them on vibrates quite a bit anyway and I have no issues with the mirrors at all. Hope this answers your question. 🤙🏼
I think I will have to go with the 80mm version. I don't necessarily want the 94mm even though those are what they consider street legal, and the 57mm just seem too small for me. I don't care if they look like "elephant ears" as much as I want to make sure I can see them easily. Even the 80mm versions will be less obtrusive than the oem perch style mirrors, dangling like alien tentacle eyes up in the air fragile enough to break if you sneeze near them.
Yeah I certainly wouldn’t ever go for the 94. I think they would look absolutely terrible as a bar end. I went for the 57mm in the end and feel that was the right choice for me. Small and smart looking whilst working very well. I have to say the 57mm doesn’t seem too small, I can see clearly behind me and and the slight convex shape helps massively with blind spots. I’m really happy with the 57mm. You will need to let me know how the 80mm ones are. 🤙🏼 Thanks you for watching.
@@danielbarber2677 I didn't get the chance to compare in person, I just ordered the 80s. They are perfect for me just the right size to see everything I need to see. Bigger would have been too big. Smaller I think might provide less of a view than I prefer.
Just wanted to describe the view in the 80mm's - I can look down to the right and see everything behind me in both lanes. It is so nice to have actual proper mirrors and not have to do weird motions with my arms and head just to see around them and get an idea of what's back there. They are adjustable like a car mirror, I just reach down and push them where they need to be. They stay where they are put. But adjust easily. They are just better mirrors than the ones I replaced. It took me a while to get used to having a good view of what was behind me at all times.
If the bar diameter is the same on 797 to the 1200 then you will need the adapter to fit but I can’t say for certain. You can find out on the Rizoma page if you need the adapter. Which does give you options. The whole set came with both a thicker and thinner adapter so I would like to think one of them would fit. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😄🤙🏼

Yeah I looked for ages before settling on the Rizoma ones. They are expensive but definitely worth it.
Do you have vibration issues ?
The bike does vibrate a lot as you may have guessed but I haven’t had an issue with not being able to see in the mirrors because of it.

Not necessary but because the bike does vibrate a fair bit, I like to put some on just to keep it secure. 🤙🏼

what kind of bolt you used to hold the reservoir after removing the side mirror? where did you get them
They are CNC racing ones. I can’t quite remember if they are a 8mm or 10mm. I more likely to say 8 but I would double check.
